Really cool design… Flamewreath potentially backstabs you now after he is finished dancing.
I’m kinda confused here. How does this work with minions without backstab, @ThanatosNoa ? Or is it discoverable?
Sick tempo card! Even thou you need a good board to fully abuse that
seems like minions without backstab get backstab (0) / no counterattack if attacking from behind.
If Artist attacks and backstabs (not counterattacks and backstabs)
- All friendlies can “front” or “side” or w/e stab
- You won’t take counterattack damage from stabbing
- IF they have the Backstab (X) keyword, they’ll get bonus damage

More cards with ‘discoverable’ interactions that aren’t clear on paper.
I imagine that at least all attacks that become backstabs will not be counterattacked. Whether or not they get bonus damage, I have no idea. Maybe creatures/generals without backstab will just get 1 bonus damage?
Seems I was basically correct. Good to know it’s fairly straightforward.
This card isn’t the worse, but right now, songhai needs 1, 2 and 3 drops to fill out their missing curve. With Katara gone, this 4 drop alone is not enough to play backstab, especially because it can’t give a minion the backstab keyword, but that it only makes attacks backstabs which is practically useless because you will most likely not have all you minions in place for them.
Wait! @ThanatosNoa, when this card’s text says all attacks are backstabs, does that mean that for the rest of the turn, the enemy cannot counter attack?! If this is the case you might as well nerf the card right now as the people will be screaming bloody murder. @yerboijosh, what do you think?
Holy Mother of God, I hope this is the case, Songhai will become OP once again. I pray to our Lord and Savior Grandmaster Zendo for this gift.

So there are no counterattacks at all this turn? And backstab gets bonus damage from any angle?
This is highly dangerous with Assasination Protocol AND Inner Focus castable on this dude.

i thought this card meant it grants all your other units backstab for a turn, I didn’t know it actually meant you can attack from anywhere and it counts as backstab. I am a really big fan of this thing and it seems pretty good. With an mds it can take out 5 hp targets which is super good

Dude this is like a cheaper, slower Drill Guy. Calm your tits. It suffers from the same problem of being a winmore card. You need to have a good board for this card to… make your board better. If you could take advantage of this card, you’ve already won the game.
Wait, will ranged attacks be backstab @ThanatosNoa ?

So, basically all friendlies won’t take counterattack being in any side of the enemy? sorry if i didn’t get the explanation that thanatos say earlier :S

Ranged attacks basically are backstab, since they aren’t counter attacked. However, maybe other ranged units won’t counter attack?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It should, or shouldn’t or could, or couldn’t.
You’re not really stabbing someone if it’s ranged, so does it matter if you’re not fighting another ranged! Find out more on the next episode of I wish I knew
