I used to play duelyst a good bit about 6 monthes ago but never really had any cards, but recently Ive had the money to buy orbs and Ive started getting back into the game. Anyway what set should I buy for Abyssian and Songhai cards I have a few of the really good songhai and neutral cards already but not a lot, Thanks

core every time, I’ve been playing for 18 months and core is still the best option for me

Core until you have most of the staples and most all of the commons/rares. You can then craft specific cards you want or buy orbs from sets with lots of cards you want.
Don’t get Shimzar since it has been rotated out.

Its actually debatable now, mythron has some strong value with the new mythron legendaries
My suggestion in regards to Mythron: Always buy at least 1. If the Mythron card you opened is something you want to build around. If it is, buy packs with the cards you want to enable that deck.
Generally, I feel that buying Core until you have most of the cards is thre best and crafting the things you need with Spirit is best, due to the increased chances of getting a Legendary from Core Orbs.
Also, Shimzar cards can only be used in unranked and AI play, so don’t buy those if you want to focus on ranked games.

my first season was november 2016, so it isn’t even 18 months yet
