Some people are gonna think I’m wrong and this is just a meme, but I have a haunting feeling that stun Vanar will become very competitive. Maybe not OP since Vet, but still…

Pardon me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this still stand no chance against Mantra and other similarly non-Minion decks?

Stun vanar would actually need some OP af support to make it somewhat viable, it isn’t really that easy to save.

Artifact Sajj, Vanar has pings for dayz for, Mantra, I believe will be experiencing a sever power drop into unplayability imo with the rotation of Crescent Spear.

@epicflygon, they have stun up the wazoo, in faction single target removals and now this artifact and the other one. At the very least, you have to admit it is just as viable as Artifact Sajj if not more so.

Nah, artifact sajj can actually make plays.

They don’t really have many good stun cards, like all there is, is corona.

What means “reactivate them” ?@ThanatosNoa

This really shouldn’t be a question, please use context clues.

We believe in you guys, (unless you’re not a native English speaker/reader)

(Above is unedited)

Sorry @project2el this came off as unnecessarily cruel, I just couldn’t tell if you were joking.

If the enemy is dead, what is actually reactivate? It’s not clear at all

Guys, I think its like mind steal or smth. Correct me if Im wrong Noa. Basically they revive the minion and take it as their own and then reactivate it giving it rush basically.

Dont worry fam, I got you

Well, it’s a dangling modifier. I understood it just fine, but it irks me somehow. How about: “Whenever your General destroys a stunned minion, reactivate your General.”

It means the General, not the destroyed minion.

Whenever your general kills a stunned enemy Minion, your own general is reactivated.

Then why “them” and not “it”? I’m not a native English speaker, sorry if this feels so childish

Been playing ArtiSajj (in the lower ranks admittedly) and Vanar’s stuns often don’t seem too bad for me, minus the lost tempo/movement, as most decks will still experience anyway, not just ArtiSajj.

At no point, at all, does the card even remotely point to “reanimation”

The card references to two nouns

Noun 1 - “your General”
Noun 2 - “Stunned enemy”

Now that we’ve established what objects we are interacting with, what is happening with the card.

When your General destroys a Stunned enemy (it’s dead, no longer living, cannot be acted on, vanished, isn’t here, not a thing, bamboozled into another plane of existence, killed, dead), reactivate them (in the context of them, the only remaining subject here in play is your General).

Reactivate has been seen on many cards before and this has by no means ever been a thing that interacts with dead things. :frowning:

(I know the wording isn’t great, but you guys aren’t babies - use your noggin!)

Singular “them” is really uncommon without a preceding “each, everybody, no one, whoever, someone”, etc (e.g. “If someone comes to pick up their luggage, give them a hand.”).

It’s especially confusing here since “them” could grammatically be referring to the “Stunned enemy” or the “General”. I’m rusty on my game terminology since I haven’t played Duelyst in awhile, so this confused me for a good while till I saw people calling it bad (at which point I realized it couldn’t be talking about reactivating any minions since that’d be strong, so I guessed it meant reactivating the general).

Super nit-picky but w/e (the writer’s blood boils within me).
