I can’t imagine this card seeing much play outside of Kara since it requires an immediate buff to even be useful. The token it spawns however, if you can get it off, is OP as hell. Good thing they made this card available to all factions as a neutral.

EDIT: @dandee just pointed out that this card transforms friendly Scarzigs from anywhere, even your deck! This card is way too strong even if it is accessible to all factions. And then Lyonar just so happens to get Lifestream. :hairage:

What do you guys think about this card?

Worth 3 mana, not worth legendary status at all (like envybear)

Also, I get streamer cards, but I don’t like the name. I don’t like the card name scarzig.

BUT transforming in deck could be useful. 3 mana 4/8 draws with celerity.

I guess you would want to run this in Songhai? Playing this, inner focusing it, and buffing the attack, or just running it into a wraithling is pretty good.

I love the art style on this one. Way more simplistic and floaty/light than the other Duelyst units. Everything in Duelyst looks so mechanical. Even the ghostly/ethereal units have some solid/blocky component. Even if this guy is in armour, the pose and the simplicity of the armour make it look so much lighter. I guess that’s why it’s the feather knight.

I agree, I actually really like the art of this card. The smol one reminds me of Shovel Knight and the big one is medieval looking without being too cliche.

Love the creativity! I’m considering my odds when pairing this with Surgeforger or Auroara. The Feathered Knight’s effect seems perfect for a Swarm deck as well.

Can it transform a dead Scarzig into a Feathered Knight, so that Keeper of the Vale can pull the Feathered Knight? I know it doesn’t resurrect tokens, but the Knight wasn’t a token when it died, right? :thonk:

I would guess no since the effect occurs after It survives damage, so the battle phase resolves, exhausting scarzig, AND THEN at the start of your MP2, it transforms, holding the exhausted status.

Every game reminds me of yugioh card phases and resolutions. They have so much card text that they have defined card game interactions and allowed card games to flourish. I’m done.

Graveyard is somewhere in Duelyst. I imagine you either pull scarzig, since it got removed or you pull feather Knight, since one scarzig attacked and transformed them all.

Edit: feather Knight is a token, a la the global pin thread so, it cannot be pulled from keeper at all.

I think the mechanics behind a graveyard scarzig are going to be a bit odd

So “Scarzig” (the 1/2 Legendary) can be revived by keeper, but FeatherKnights are technically tokens.

So you could Keeper a Scarzig, but not a Feather Knight, but if your Scarzigs are Feather Knights and you Keeper a Scarzig it will turn…into…a Feather Knight?

Does that make sense?

Why not rush to make it a real legendary? By thr color looks like a Vanar card
