Taken from the Duelyst Twitter. Seems decent if you want more than 3 chakra avatars, but I can’t see anyone using this over the Avatar
Immortal Vanguard - Songhai Suzumebachi
Shidai support? Can take any of her spells, especially backstab? Same with Kaleos, kinda? Really can benefit from being under 3 attack, unlike Chakri after a time.

This card does great for supporting spellhai, without being too overpowering. Welcome addition I’m sure!
People are saying how it is not as good as chakri, and I think that is intended. Having more cards on the same power level as chakri after the support spellhai is getting, it would just be too much.

This will work really well with the new Songhai General, but I feel like Chakri is better than this. Could have easily been a 1/4.

Chakri is better and in a deck with cheap spells (juxta, mds, if) probably scroll bandit is better too. I dont think it Will see the board

its not an arcanyst hence unplayable chakri waay better unless this might be hinting for cards to be rotated in future. the world may never know

It’s fine as fourth or seventh Chakri Avatar or Bloodrage Mask. Might see play in a Mirror Meld deck. Redundancy is important.

So first reveal for other factions are adequate cards for other factions, first reveal for songhai is pack filler? Sad day.

As for CPG’s card, it’s not even 1/4, so it’ll die still to tiger (a constant risk for songhai players putting their kataras & chakris in front), so it doesn’t offer a positive even in that regard. This card really is sad to see. Just…what a waste

So I’ve been thinking. Suzumebachi does have an advantage over Chakri avatar that’s super important: You don’t care if it get’s joseki’d, which means playing joseki is less dangerous, since you want to be giving bad cards and getting good ones.
