Immortal Vanguard - Replicant

doesnt feel great but its good deck thinning and if played turn 1 guarantees a turn 2 play

could be good with that lyonar swarm mech or as deck thinning for abyss mech or all by itself as a cycling 2 drop

too bad it only cycles itself twice

if you havnt played any all game its actually not a bad topdeck

I can use it in doom to remove fluff cards from my deck

Why is this even a mech in the first place? All the other mechs are connected to Mechaz0r! in some way or another but this card has nothing to do with Mechaz0r! at all.

This is really good, cycles, thins, and I foresee it being a 3of in most Mech Decks, and possibly some aggresive swarm decks.

A Mech that doesn’t advance Mechaz0r!? Blasphemy!

In every TCG I played, I always was fond of cycling cards. Great. I really like it.

Can be buffed with Oakenheart and helps dig out Mechaz0rs put in your deck with Nightmare Operant. I can see myself play it in non-mech decks potentially.

Also love the sprite and animation. Robots with thin legs, just do it for me. Reminds of the art of Tsutomu Nihei.

I had a mini heart attack for a second. You’re right; thanks for pointing that out.

is it just be or do a lot of cards skip leg day?

Just looks like some flavorful swarm support to me. Lyonar Zoo players might just be trying this out!

While you are probably right, have you seen Azure Herald? 乇乂ㄒ尺卂 ㄒ卄丨匚匚

Abyssian Mech Maehv support. All the dying wish Mech swarm. The new generals are trained gundams who just so happen to be bloodbound.

Is it me, or is this card insanely powerful. I feel that a lot of card analysis discussions forget about the existence of Mana tiles, that those little balls are what makes Replicant quite the force to be reckoned with.

You can play this with replace as a 2/2 that draws a card, which is far from bad, or you can chain all three to slim your deck down by 3 cards. We know how broken Azure Summoning can be and this, while not nearly as strong as Azure, takes up significantly less deck spots and is rarely a worthless draw. With mana tiles, you can play all three buggers as soon as turn 2, which gives you a board, makes your deck slightly less garbage, and gets you ahead on cards.

I can see this being the staple neutral 2 drop in the next expansion. My Alabaster Titan deck is going to love these, as will Vetruvian Golem Swarm.

Side tangent on Mana orbs, everyone seems to forget they exist when evaluating certai cards. I remember how everyone freaked out when Komodo Hunter was spoiled. When it was released, however, everyone realized that a 3 mana 5/6 is not worth allowing your opponent stealing mana orbs with chargers and ramping out something big. I feel that this card will have the opposite effect in that the reach providdd by this card will allow you to claim more tiles and therefor lower its effective cost.

This card is pretty good. It’s obvious that the devs are wanting to flesh out Mech as an actual tribe instead of just being steps to playing mechazor (even though that’s the main part of it)

What immediately comes to mind is the new mech revealed for Lyonar, which buffs all mechs on the field. This also supports swarm in general without being only usable in Mech decks.

I really like this!

Its a very good swarm card! lyonar and vetruvian definately like this and probably even abyssian

Oh hey. Mechs got a dreamshaper.

What the heck CPG! I mean this card is good and all, but where’s the love for a Songhai without Mantra or 8 gates? I see Abyssian, Magmar, Lyonar, and even Vetruvian getting support (Vanar doesn’t need it) in some ways with all these new cards and what does Songhai get? An overall worse Chakri Avatar, a build minion that becomes complete garbage past your 5 mana turn, and a 7 mana minion whose effect is way too late game to help out Spellhai.

I think it’s jumping the gun a little bit to say that Songhai is getting the short end of the stick, as there’s still a huge amount of cards yet to be revealed. This could always support future archetypes of the faction, or be a generally good filler card. Just gotta wait and see.

why do i have a feeling somewhere down the line there will be a mech card that says “all mechs in hand and deck progresses mechazor 20%”

:open_mouth: Squadron Hawk in Duelyst? Thought this would have been a Vet card. Very cool though
