Meltdown, what are you doing in Magmar?
It looks like a mini Meltdown. But, only hits closest minion. Faction based so it’s not every where. And not super game ending, 5 hurts but it’s not 7.

Definitely a strong card, but I don’t think I’ll call OP just yet. Can’t say I’m excited about more out of hand face damage from Magmar though.

its a good card, maybe it could fit in alongside decimus as a bulkier face damage tool, but those decks are already pretty solid (at least at the higher end of the curve)
i think this cards true home is going to be in vaath smash decks.

meh -_____- more damage for magmar basically a 1 of tech card in case magmar dont have any burst damage im not tottally thrilled…but ye whatever its magmar what yall expect they the kings of control

Yeah it looks strong. At the very least it doesn’t damage at random. I really hope this doesn’t turn into thee next Lavaslasher

Its the closest enemy, same as vetruvian 0 cost battle pet, “Dying Wish: Despel the nearest enemy minion”. So this can be placed on a corner and can deal 5 damage across the board if thats the closest enemy minion alive… this is broken with that body!

Should I make a bold call… screw it I will. I don’t think it will see play unless a new deck type comes up for Magmar. Its 6 mana which puts it in competition with Warbeast but Warbeast has an immediate impact. At 7 mana with BBS, it puts in competition with combos like Tiger + Thumping wave, Decimus + Spikes which can end games and probably are more likely to do that than Armada. Plus if you play it at 6 mana you have to risk it not getting removed or dispelled before you get any value from its effect.
I think its a cool card but too expensive and too slow. Won’t stop me from trying it though.

Love this card! Not every card has to be a super power card.
