This is sad 
Unlike some others I never believed the game would ever be revisited, even after Godfall, but I did hope that at least it could continue on in limbo indefinitely.
And I too still had new decks to play, memes to try, budget builds to refine.
But oh well. For the most part, it was a wonderful game while it lasted, and now it’s time for it to migrate to that great server in the sky. “Nothing gold can stay.”

The only thing I can do easily (which is not that easy, mind you) is… probably have a quicker turnaround for bosses?
So instead of having 1 a week, might be able to convince the engi to stick 2-3 in a week for one last hurrah?

Man, it was a really fun time and I truly enjoyed what Duelyst brought to the table as a CCG. I can honestly say no other CCG has captured my attention or brought me as much joy. Even in the grand scheme of ALL card games, I can only say Magic: The Gathering eclipses Duelyst in my time, money and pleasure. Being second place to the titan of all card games is a big achievement, even though it’s coming from just a simple customer.
I feel I have to be honest though, I think we all saw this coming. Duelyst was telling us it was on the way out a long time ago, but like a stubborn friend who cannot say ‘good night’, some of us tried to keep the conversation going.
I will look back on the game with pure joy. I will look forward to upcoming projects with grand expectations.
As a final note, and I’m sure I’ll be saying it more as the days count down: Thanks to everyone in the community. Be it in the forums, in the game, on the dev team, or anywhere, this whole experience will forever shine as one of my happiest moments in my own tiny sphere of gaming history. Just like I’ll always remember playing Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt as a toddler, Duelyst too, shall have a place in my mind as a game of importance.
Thank you, everyone, again. I must wait now to see what more lies beyond the horizon.
