Titan Zir’an apparently is of some considerable power.
I think it’s a little out of meta since it was meta recently but she hasn’t fallen too far and is likely plenty competitive.
Ziran is so satisfying to play!
Titan can put a lot of stats on the board, but lacks removal.
As someone who plays abyssian a lot, I sometimes feel bad watching titan trying to navigate around bloodtide priestess.
Sun sister sterope can help, but I agree that titan tends to struggle with backline threats.
I’m a bit late to the party, but you should definitely try this deck if you haven’t yet:
[infinite birb otk]MToyMDEsMToyMzcsMzoyMzgsMzoyNDYsMzoyNTYsMzoyNjAsMzoxMDAwMSwzOjExMDM1LDI6MTEwODQsMzoxMTA5OCwzOjExMTE1LDM6MTExNDEsMzoxOTAzOCwzOjIwMjU0LDM6MjAyODY=
This is the deck by AlphaCentury (probably a bit modified by me, I believe the original one didn’t have heralds) which aims to summon free KhaKhas and NoshRak to OTK the opponent by copying birbs. Surprisingly playable and consistent. Orbrider helps in preserving your copied birbs, resummoning Sandwhirl and also Dreamshaper to help finding your key cards. With an obvious application of resummoning Mirrorrim. OTK is not even always necessary, since enormous birb mass can often win games by itself.
I came across a few of those on ladder and am currently having some success with a tempo vet that can opportunistically complete the trial. I copied a person on ladder who played a similar deck, but they got salty and included fault, so I don’t feel guilty about stealing. Sand from Sickle and Sandswirl are usually enough to make Kha worth it, and Duskweaver’s random wish is surprisingly good in the lategame. The plan is to let Reliquarian get you a bunch of Kha, and swing face for 9-15.
This Cypheron variant, where I cut the artifact package, is arguably stronger, since it lets you get a lot more value from sickle, and grapnel paragon trivializes some matchups.
Wildfire Ankh could be decent in these sorts of decks, but it requires you to already have a sickle for it to really shine. Of course, you can sell out and just pop Fault into any of these decks and they’ll probably be stronger.
It’s funny how this thread was hijacked by Vetruvian Empire, however, let’s put this rare meaningful discussion back on its track.
@atrestia , if you like control Zir’An playstyle I can’t miss the chance to promote Arcanyst Zir’An lists to you:
- List by a very respectable player and a totally awesome guy @nh3maser:

OR a budget version of the same deck:
https://duelspot.com/deck/4k-spirit-ziran-heal-synergy-arcanysts/ - List by not so respectable but a pretty experienced player @halcyon98 (and also a totally awesome guy):
https://duelspot.com/deck/solar-powered-arcanysts/
The main appeal of these decks is the synergy between cheap removal produced by Sterope and Arcanysts. As an additional bonus, Arcanyst core cards are all neutral, and can be played in any faction each adding its own style into the mix.
Glad you have fun Zir’An is definitely one of the most interesting generals to play, imo, I liked her, too.
