Why is Fault Hated?

Kha counters:

  1. Wanderer Rag because of the stat boost
  2. Zoetic charm becaue of the stat boost
  3. Vaath because of stat boost
  4. Clears any 3+ attack beefy minions (which is every Magmar minion)

Besides because of the flexibility of Fault+Kha+Rae you can pretty much run anything in there including EMP, Thunderhorn and the like which is really nice because it can demolish Egg based strats and Magmar in general.

Getting bored reading Fault destroying Magmar.
Can someone tell what Fault destroys in other non-Magmar factions?

Never thought I’d see the day Vet gets complained about more than Hai

Things change.
Though wasn"t vet more hated when laser-kitties and old time maelstrom was a thing ?

Everything wrong with Magmar in one deck

Use this responsively
Too bad I don’t own Progenitor… that’d even make this 10 times more broken. GL HF

P.S. if you’re up against Vet don’t bother just concede

I suppose this would do alright.

It’s got a solid early game and some of magmar’s power plays like metallurgist into slasher and flash juggy.

Surprised to find no Makantors though, and rebuke hurts a lot this deck has to offer. The curve this deck has can probably do with a little less draw too. :+1:t2:

Looks like a bad deck to me.
First no Makantor in a Magmar deck is usually very questionable.

Looks way too ramp dependent. If your early 2 drop gets removed and fail to ramp you have little to do in the middle.

Card draw looks too much. Clearly the plan is to drop heavies and not swarming so you don’t need so much cards.

Maybe the most broken thing Magmar can do is to not be broken

You will burn through your cards surprisingly fast with Kujata alone.
Flash and Cascading Rebirth make it even worse. The draw is necessary and you’ll notice if you bother to play it.
Again I don’t own certain Magmar cards like Makantor and Progenitor but replace Stormmetal Golem and Ragebinder with those two and just so you can see what I’m talking about play it; even if it’s just for a few games.

I think that he can get a solid idea of the deck just by looking at it given how much he has played and that it is not rocket science.

The deck will struggle against very aggresive decks that can remove your early 2-drops.
Special mention goes to aggro kaleos

I mean if he did he wouldn’t say there is too much draw lol
You’ll see how absurd this is once you play.
If they aren’t playing fault and don’t have minion transformation/martyrdom in deck it’s a 100% win. If they do you lose 80% of the time unless they majorly mess up somehow.
Fault+Kha beats this because it’s the only end game win condition that’s better than Magmar’s end game.
Very aggressive decks are no problem because you get Kraigon by turn 3-4 most of the time.

You need
-Juggernaut
-Rebirth
-Flash

+a boardsetup that brings you to 8 effective mana for juggernaut+rebirth

Calling it inconsistent is an understatement
By the time it comes out the opponent had plenty of time to search for removal

*just bringing out juggernaut is already good enough

Dragall’s actually playing in the current Team Wars.

I eagerly await that write-up.

And that’s only the meta ones. If i included off-meta, then I’d have to mention things like Grandmaster Variax, and Monolithic Visions + Adjudicator. Magmar usually aims to kill really late game decks during the first few turns of lategame, when they are just starting to transition. Saurian Finality, which used to be one of the most broken Magmar cards litterally does this out of the box. Now, Makantor, eggs, and wanderer do this to a lesser extent

Oh boy do I have news for you…
I’ve been playing this deck of mine for the past few hours.
I’m gonna give you a few games where I absolutely crush the enemy and it’s not like I’m good at the game (which I’ve hopefully demonstrated the past couple of hours) The deck is doing the job for me.

  5. Burn Faie: https://play.duelyst.com/replay?replayId=-LxeHJi4GsDp1XYjMZpu

Juggernaut and Kraigon beat all and you’d know why if you thought about it.

What are walls gonna do against Frenzy, Forcefield, 9 attack? Seriously tell me.
You literally clear them all with your face. Variax dies similarly to how walls die. Frenzy beats all.
What is Alabaster titan gonna do with my 10 million hp Juggernaut? Give me more golem eggs?
Arcanysts I can clear with Rebuke (Shidai Arcanyst) or Plasma storm (Other forms) though I will admit it’s a tricky match up. It’s not tricky because their end game is stronger because it isn’t. It’s only tricky because I might lose due to mid game pressure before it gets to that stage of the game.

For burnfaie(was me)
I lost because i screwed up and got too greedy with the imidiate facedamage
Had i played a bit slower i likely would have won

Only proving my point.
If you aggress Magmar you lose to Rush and overstatted minions. If you don’t aggress Magmar you lose because their end game beats all (except fault)

You can’t have both overstatted minions, rush and tons of face damage as well as crazy end game.
