Even though I’m casting spells my turn timer starts ticking down. Is this a bug or is the timer always fixed and doesn’t take into account that I’m actually doing something?
Turn timer malfunction?
You usually have 90 seconds to make your turn. It doesn’t matter what you are doing or if you aren’t doing anything at all, you always have the same amount of time to make your move. The only exception is if you have been roping multiple turns in a row, in which case you get less time to make your turn on consecutive turns.
Thanks for the reply!
That however sounds like a terrible system. It’s beyond me why the game would punish a player who is still active during his or her turn. There is simply no good reason in setting a time limit on someone actively advancing the game state.
Well, if the game would’t limit the time for players who are actively playing cards it would technically be possible to make a troll deck that would be able to keep playing and playing cards without ending their turn until your opponent concedes from boredom. So the current system has some good in it too.
I suppose you do have a point. At this point it seems more limiting than beneficial since it also hinders fair combo decks that are actually trying to set up a win.
