Trials of Mythron Spoiler: Obdurator

Iris barrier and Obdurator looks like they will work really well together, as Iris will protect your durability on your turn whereas Obdurator will contribute to your artifacts’ tankiness on your opponent’s turn.

It’s no Falcius replacement but… it’s no Falcius replacement.

With all these cheap artifacts, Autarch’s gifts is starting to look pretty crapy, but this could still be strong if artifacts take off.

i guess so, idk it seems kind of curve unfriendly and I’d be better off running this and ankh, and then follow up with a metalmeld later on.

also there’s still this issue:

so much hemp in one picture

So we get a miniature Dawn’s Eye, that isn’t very impressive TBH. +1 attack for 2 mana isn’t impressive and if you want to repair artifacts even the poor Mechanist does a better job since he actually develops a body. This isn’t even Metalmeld support.

The only thing this is good for is OTK decks since OTK decks don’t care what the artifact does as long as it is relatively cheap. Not exactly the best news, since if OTK ever gets consistent enough it will be hated on by the whole community due to how toxic it is. After all, that deck can highroll better than even Mantra.

It’s a bit disappointing: not a bad card, it will see game with Sajj, but for an epic artifact I’d expect a little more. To be properly good it should at least activate the repair power in the end of the turn (of maybe both players’ turn) and cost 1 mana.

This card would be nice if there wasn’t EMP everywhere. Oh well, might be fun when EMP rotates. You can make a pretty spicy artifact deck with oblivion sickle, this and barrier. You could probably do something really nasty with Skyppy, the core legendary vet weapon or wildfire ankh.

It would’ve been pretty good if it triggered at the end of your turn. As is, I’m skeptical that this will see serious play anywhere. Iris Barrier is at least guaranteed to protect your General’s Health for one turn.

After seeing this spoiled on Facebook, I had to come and log in just to say this:

Feels vet man

Hoping to have time to invest in Duelyst again! Basically missed the whole cycle of the last expansion.

It’s an old old meme. Vet reks meta now.

Really looking forward to seeing that rekture, mate!

Then again, back in the days it was a merit in itself to main Vetruvian and instantly gain gentlemanly bragging rights of playing… well, THAT faction.

Anyways, seeing the other spoilers and comparing this to them makes me want to cringe and smile at the same time, 'cause this is the Vet power level I’m used to.
