Do you ever get tired of your opponents summoning minions one after one? Want to exert board dominance on the board against incoming enemies? You’re in luck; this guy knows a couple of friends who would be willing to help .
And here is Chirpuka! Right off the bat I can see this as a really good counter to Zirix’s, Lilithe’s, Reva’s, Ragnora’s, and Brome’s Bloodbound spell in most situations, as its effect will proc regardless of how the enemy minion is summoned. This also makes this card a good tech against Swarm Lilithe and Swarm Brome, as the Pukas will spawn off of all of the Wraithling’s summons and the Pukas have enough stats to effectively counter an unbuffed Crestfallen. The provoke on the Pukas can also be a good tool to help combat against rush minions.
Looking at its stats, a 5 mana 3/6 is on the lower end, but its stats are not terrible, especially when you consider that it has the potential to summon multiple 2/1s with Provoke. In terms of where it will see play, I can definitely see this supporting both Neutral Mythron decks and the Vanar Mythron deck. I could also see this being played in a more midranged Vetruvian deck, as playing around this card’s effect can make the opponent suspectable to blast (Thunderhorn + Projection) in a manner similar to Stars’ Fury. This card also feels like a must-pick for gauntlet, as it can be a really good minion to help combat backline minions and generals like Reva and Ragnora.
