So unbalanced ... again

I’ve played against a rank … SIX !!!

WHAT the fuck with the matchmaking !!!

seriously ?

playing against people who has started at the same “week/month” than you or with the same winrate shouldn’t be so difficult …
—> it’s obviously not the case as I play against rank 6

That’s not acceptable when I see everyone telling me that this game is full of skills.
A full competitive deck against a deck of 10 days.

they are no skills here.
Just an overpowerful constructed deck with all the synergies.

it’s the only online game where new player “”“play”"" against a lots more experimented one …

So you are back at it again. What rank are you? Also it is uncommon, but not impossible to get matched against a player of a way higher rank due to low amount of current players in your rank. I have gotten matched against rank 5 in rank 11 and won. I would recommend just letting one unconventional occasion pass bye, and continue enjoy the game. There are a lot of guides on how to become better, especially recommend watching streams, many streamers are very welcoming to new players and will give many helpful tips (unlike most hs streamers).

rank 20

so that should NEVER happen

and if they are a so low amount of players …

Yep, that’s the way it is. It’s somewhat unfair. You are at an inherent disadvantage. But that’s how it is. Unless Duelyst’s player base magically grows, you will have to live with it. It’s not like the devs intentionally withhold appropriate opponents from you. There just aren’t enough. No point in getting angry about it.

There are certain times, where there are like 10 players on ladder. The game looks for the closest player of your skill level. This is experienced since most of the players are NA not EU like us and with the difference of 10-12h, it might happen

Its like, you are making an elephant out of a flea for something that happens occasionally. I am actually interested if there is a thread like this on reddit as well

I’m waiting for you at hearthstone

same for halcyon98

Nice, I’m in time for this one. Playing some cards next to each other is skill, yes

You know that’s the case of lots of other online game ?

And that’s not skill, just putting cards next to other one …

you just admit that you don’t play at the most skilled and fair game available

you are adorable and unskilled …

lol what is it with threadmakers challenging people in a game of hearthstone. why not chess or pokemon showdown.

Because HS is “the most skilled and fair game available” ?

(Go players gonna love that one)

so much taunt from just a kid … Waooww

Finished our games, I won 2-1, and your arguments from our little chat are pretty much invalidated by game mechanics.

whatever is happening here is glorious lmao

you didn’t play a starter deck vs my competitive deck
as I said on this topic where this happens way too often … with this game
–> That’s what I call unbalance and unfair.

invalid ? lol

the replace mechanics is a good idea but not enough to balance the game.
Everything else is a copy/paste from other existing games.

what this game really need is a “Brawl” where every player can play with an “equal” deck in power. Where only skills matter, not the number of month you play at this game.

If you were skilled tho you wouldn’t be bitching about a bad matchup.
