What part of the post violates this?
The only thing that remotely violates this is the “there is no I in…” but depending on you take the “nothing obscene or explicit” then it’s just mentionning the word “penis” which would be an incredibly extreme view on it.

@stormshade , i totes respect your ways, but really, we sometimes don’t even know what our posts are being taken down for. i’m actually being led into thinking saying peep-- is wrong.
i’ve read the rules over and over, and i don’t know why some things we do are not allowed. we’re pretty reasonable people. please just say “hey go easy on the swearing”, “maybe that thing is too sexual”. sure we’ll go “hmmm maybe i dont agree with you”, but we’ll just avoid breaking the rules anyway.

@stormshade I know you were thrust into a previously developed community with its own set of rules, and that any changes you make is bound to be faced with opposition but looking at the rules page, you can’t only enforce rules you agree with while breaking rules you disagree with yourself.
Case in point, there’s a rule about not signing your posts:

But you regularly break that rule. However, you do enforce the very vague rule banning “offensive language.” Please please please be consistent with how you enforce the rules. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

There’s a ton of rather inappropriate jokes in that post, covering topics which include, or could be taken to include:
- Pedophilia
- Pornography
- Possible homophobic speech
- Jokes targeting the disabled
- Jokes about Bestiality
Absolutely none of these topics are appropriate for the Duelyst forums, there can be no question about this.
I’ve already done that, and now I’m moving to more active moderation. However, once more I will note: If you don’t think an eight year old child should read what you’re posting, or if you think what you are posting could potentially cause a parent to have an early awkward conversation with an eight year old child, don’t post it. If your joke or topic of conversation is not family friendly, and I read it, I will remove it. If I have to remove things too much from certain individuals, I’ll take additional steps that I really don’t want to.
That is fair, and my bad. I will resist signing my name moving forward. If you see me do it, or break any of our rules, please flag the post and tell me why, just like you would with any other community member.
