Hey guys. It’s been a while since I, your grand and glorious Chief of Communication, have posted any polls (I’ve been wasting my time working on Lesser Evil instead of communicating with my devoted subjects on the Forums), so I thought it was time to rectify that. Sadly, as my time is still limited, you will not receive a whole slew of polls, as you have come to expect, but only one. I can hear your tears hitting your keyboard or phone. You have my deepest apologies, friend.
Why are you stalling instead of giving us the poll if your time is truly limited, you ask? Because.
This poll is a test of the community’s faith in Counterplay. As some of you may know, Duelyst is supposedly going to be updated in “the next few weeks” with Rainbow Mode – a casual gamemode where cards from every faction can be put into your deck. I talked to the devs about the wisdom of adding in a new gamemode when most of the playerbase is dead, and they responded, “We’re not concerned about that, because this is just a prank, bro.” But how can we trust the devs at this point? Do YOU think Rainbow Mode is coming?
- It is certain.
- It is decidedly so.
- Without a doubt.
- Yes - definitely.
- You may rely on it.
- As I see it, yes.
- Most likely.
- Outlook good.
- Yes.
- Signs point to yes.
- Reply hazy, try again.
- Ask again later.
- Better not tell you now.
- Cannot predict now.
- Concentrate and ask again.
- Don’t count on it.
- My reply is no.
- My sources say no.
- Outlook not so good.
- Very doubtful.

Polls allow up to 20 options. Magic 8 Balls have 20 possible responses. Coincidence? I think not.
It seems to me that no one is talking about Rainbow Mode because we are all too jaded by the Quarter Four Fiasco – perhaps pessimism (or should I say, realism) has finally prevailed?
Let’s find out!
