Some time ago I had the idea to ask some of the most consistent s-rankers to make a budget deck for their main faction. With the latest patch reverting rotations it was the perfect time to execute the plan.
For that I looked for players who hit s-rank at least 10-12 times and that pretty consistently. They also should have played Duelyst this and last month and have a very high number of ribbons in at least one faction (the faction I asked them to make budget decks for). I also tried to get some of the less known players involved.
The list of good candidates is pretty long as you can imagine so I only contacted a small number (this time). I asked them to make a 1k spirit and a 2k spirit deck and add some possible upgrades. Some gave me fully upgraded decks, some wrote a longer guide about how the decks should function. I edited these comments and added them to the decks. That’s also the reason the tone of the descriptions is pretty inconsistent because every player has their own voice.
I love how different all these decks look and how everybody has their own preferences and presented them! I am very proud of how big it got. Right now there are 30 decks in that imgur album and it is even growing more because there are more decks coming but I wanted to make it public now so people can already use it.
