I’ve heard Sajj is not very good, but she seems fun. The current lineup for Vet being very Midrange Control, just seems too boring (or too complicated for my silver brain) for me to play. The biggest problem is I will be playing in Team Wars so I need a very good and competitive deck. Would this do the trick? Do I need some different cards thrown in?

This is kind of a weird artifact Golem hybrid. If you cut the artifacts save for Ankh and put in some more minions you’ll be looking good
Team Wars is also a semi-casually tournament. It is about fun 
I strongly advice to try Lost Artificer’s deck from @deathsadvocate.
Much cards in common, less golems, more Artifact driven, and “infamous” Thunderblast/Desert package included 
(I love it in Frostfire Mode !)

You do have a super sollid base, allthough without Bob or Repulsor I have to wonder if thunder/dessert is worth it, people play around it pretty hard these days. So like Nwardezir said consider my version, or alternatively maybe try skipping lost/thunder in favor of Windstriker and maybe some healing, dispel, oasis, or tracer.
I was basically trying to mix your “Lost Artificer” and “One Shot Robot” decks lol, but my team captain for Team Wars wants to play Vet now so I’m sad

Well if that’s your goal consider cutting Zephyr for Repulsor and call it good as you have aoe now with thunder. Zeph is cool but rarely useful since you really want to be playing the Ankh game. Although if you do that combined with the lack of artificer Spinecleaver is quickly starting to loose value.
Maybe just cut both spine and zephyr, add repulsor and windstriker. That does sound pretty good, I may even give that a whirl.
