Hey Duelyst Fans!
We’ve got a quick update on our Mythron Rarity article that I’m going to drop here to awareness.
Clarifying the Orb-Opening Achievement
For starters, there was some confusion about how many achievements you could earn. There are only 7 Trials of Mythron achievements for Mythron Rarity cards. You can earn one free card for opening the following amount of orbs.
1, 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61
After opening up 61 Trials of Mythron orbs, you’ll have a full set of Mythron Rarity cards from this set.
Prismatic Mythron Rarity & Crafting
Non-prismatic versions of the card can be obtained from an achievement (mentioned above) or crafting them for 1200 Spirit. Non-prismatic versions CANNOT be disenchanted.
Prismatic versions of the card can be crafted or disenchanted. They will craft for 2400 Spirit, and disenchant for 1200 Spirit.
Update: Orb-Opening Achievement
Our original orb-opening achievement read that if you crafted a Mythron card, you’d be cutting yourself short of an achievement reward. That didn’t sit right with us, as no one should be excluded from achievements and achievements should always reward something. So we’re making a change and throwing more free stuff your way!
Now, for every crafted non-prismatic Mythron card the orb-opening-achievements will instead give you a random Prismatic Mythron card. You will only get Prismatic Mythron cards from the orb-opening-achievements after you have all seven non-prismatic Mythron cards.
These are random prismatics of any Mythron card from Trials of Mythron, so duplicates are possible. Please note that the achievements are not retroactive, and do not go past the originally listed amounts.
We’ve made an amendment to the original article to reflect these changes and are excited to see what you guys make with our upcoming Mythron rarity cards!
