Very easy to explain and implement.
Now the Collection shows by default all the cards in the game, but Standard is the supposed format for competitive play. I think it would be better to have Standard cards only being shown in the Collection, so as to avoid confusion for new players and simplify the construction of new decks for the “main” game mode.
The UI probably needs some polishing there, but this would be a simple, small QoL change.
Agreed. AFAIK there is also currently nothing in the deckbuilder that highlights whether or not a deck is illegible for Standard either. I think this should be implemented alongside your suggestion, so that people with pre-existing decks don’t have to comb through everything and compare lists to find the disallowed Shimzar cards.
Agree. The setting to show standard deck is there, but it could be more intuitive.

Yeah, whatever. Either put Standard as the default or keep track of the saved preferences.
Both options are fine to me, just noticed that showing the full collection is just more error-prone, because you may end up building decks which are invalid. If we took the opposite choice, we could only produce sub-par decks…
For the time being, I agree. I’m the distant future when the number of non standard cards begins to outweigh standard cards I feel it should be the way it is now.
Also, while I’m in the subject there’s a little bug I should help you all recognize. If you take an existing deck that is NOT standard and replace the cards to make it standard, the game will not recognize it as a standard deck. You need to either completely rebuild the deck or import it to yourself after you’ve fixed it.
I suspect the game is setting a flag for nonstandard decks but failing to remove it.
