Hi! I am a newcomer to Duelyst, and it looks like a very good game! I was wondering if anyone has any good tips for Duelyst. Thanks!
Looking for tips and suggestions
Hi there! Do you have any previous TCG experience?
If so, please share with us so we can tell you how much we liked/hated that game.
One good tip would be to check out @isbee’s faq for new players. He’s still making it though, and check out the meme thread. It’s pretty cool.
Which is here : F.A.Q. Construction Thread
… I still doubt it will be released one day because @isbee is busy liking every message every hour, so you can start directly by reading the “construction” thread
Oh gee…thanks. I am mapping every thing out offline right now. It’s a lot to organize and I want to do it right…well, mostly right…the first time. It’s going to be super awesome.
Ok for being super awesome but … will it be in 2017 ?
Affirmative, Captain!
He’s an archaeologist, don’t expect it in the nearest century
Do the solo challenges in the Play menu for some free gold and some interesting learning experiences. You can level factions up in the practise mode (against AI) up to level 10 that should unlock all the basic cards for that faction and the second general (or that could be level 11, been too much time has passed for me to remember) if you don’t want to go onto Ranked without all the basic cards first. In Ranked, you’ll get end of season rewards depending on which tier you hit and ideally you’ll want to aim for at least gold (rank 10) for a free legendary card, although don’t worry if you don’t get there. Once you hit a tier you can’t go below it for the rest of the season, so for example once you hit Silver (rank 20) you can’t go back into Bronze, so you can safely try out new decks at those points if you want, without worrying about your rank. Watch your own matches back to learn from your own mistakes or things you could have done better in your Profile menu under match history. Also look out for staple plays/cards such as Holy Immolation in Lyonar and Warbeast in Magmar as examples.
