Let’s come up with new daily quests

I’ve been playing a while and I’d like a little more variety. Kill 50 minions, deal 150 damage, play 8 games. Quests can get players to play a little differently, so let’s pitch some new ones. I believe the last time they changed quests they said they want them to take ~6 games to finish, so that’s what I’ll be using for my suggestions. Quests should be able to be completed by all factions (so no blast, infiltrate, etc), but not necessarily by all decks (like how decks that ignore minions have a hard time killing 50 minions).

  • Move x spaces. Not sure how many is reasonable, or if it should only count generals or all units. If it’s just generals, I’d put it at 120 or so. Generals and minions, maybe… 1000? 750? There’s so much variance here.

  • Activate x Opening Gambits. 75 maybe?

  • Corner/surround x enemies. 30? (Surround meaning can’t move. So up down left right)

  • Equip x artifacts. No idea. I’m not sure about this one.

Equipment of Artifacts seems like a good idea.

War Ready: Summon 75 minions
Resourceful: Draw 50 cards
Impervious: Take no damage on 20 turns
Dominant: Destroy 20 enemy minions with your general
Well Mannered: Greet your opponent with ‘GLHF’ on the first turn (6 times to finish)

Also, if you’re shooting for completion in 6 games your numbers are a bit high (personally I’d aim for 8 but that’s just me).

Maybe not, because some factions don’t equip artifacts at all. Imagine replacing an Ultimate Aggressor into that quest when your decks don’t run artifacts. How about:

  • Replace 50 times
  • Attack with your general 75 times
  • Use 250 mana

It’s Looking Up: Play on curve until “x” mana in “y” matches

No Man’s Land: Play only neutral cards in “y” matches

Magician: Play “x” spells in “y” matches

Nothing’s going to waste: Do not discard any cards in “y” matches

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Replace a total of “x” times in “y” matches

Proud Wraithling Eater: Never replace in “y” matches

Enter The Void: Empty your entire hand in “y” matches

Sticky Like Magmari Jam: Have “x” friendly minion(s) remain on the board for a total of 3 turns in “y” matches

Jackpot!: Have nothing but “z” number of “x” mana minions in your hand with no spells

Seeing Red: Use your BBS “x” times in “y” matches

Tribalistic: Summon only minions of Tribe “A”

  • You can specify a tribe or any tribe as long as it is that one specifically

The Short End: Play minions and spells only within the 0-4 mana range

Remorsless winter: Stun 20 minions
Blood ritual: Destroy 50 minions with spell or minion effects
Zookeper: Summon 70 tokens
Defence formation: Summon 40 Provoke minions
Archmage: Cast 70 spells

Couldnt think of a quest to support cyphron

I don’t think there should be General based quests… especially for those you have to unlock.

No I meant that a quest to support Cyphron would be a bad idea because not all factions can do things like his effect.

You can do every single one with any other general. It is just easier with the newer ones (the token mission is easier with lilithe than ragnora though)

I don’t like the archetype specific quests. Current quests can be solved regardless of deck. You will damage general, kill minions or play games anyway.

and so on require too specific decks to be solved. I disapprove.

Same for me! I barely have the time to do my dailies and in fact I’m able to complete both quests only sporadically, I typically break the big one over two days.

Having quests which require specific decks to be completed would be a major issue to me…

summon 30 provoke minions
restore 100 health
win a game less than 7 turns
deal 16 damage in a turn
sooooo many quests can be added they should give us 6 quests a day

I don’t agree, doom doesnt do damage i feel discriminated against i cant complete quests with doom reeee

Reward: 40 Gold

No, forces you to play vetruvian and only one card fills the querry. If you really want a quest, it could be: Summon 40 wind dervishes. Now we are talking.

XD You do know that 90% of my posts are trolls right? If I don’t indicate a LEGIT heading, then its a troll XD

If you win, you still get that sweet 25 dmg in your counter, so…just win.

Spam Mail: Emote 50 times
Truth: Dispel 50 units
Sisterhood: Play 7 of the seven sisters (duplicates allowed)
Generosity: Give minions extra stats/abilities 30 times
Unbreakable: Win 6 games in a row
Shiny: Play 30 Prismatic Cards

Unbreakable sounds a bit too tough. Bring it down to 4 or maybe 3

The 50 emote one sounds a bit to much if you ask me, i doubt you spam more then 4 per round vs randoms.
A good one sounds like :play X number of cards
:play x number of cards/minions/spells like a random combo quest
:tip X gold could be good, get that gold back and a bonus for sportsmanship
:craft cards using X shards could also be good for new players
:play games vs 3 different factions
And the obligatory troll one: win X number of games in Y rank
