Anyway, idk how I feel about this card with Paradigm existing. Who is it gonna be useful against Songhai? Everyone else will remove it? Like High priority target here can’t even go for the typical attack it, because it’s gonna be surrounded by provoke? It’s like Phoenix firing Quartermaster in my eyes. What else were you gonna do? Let it keep gaining value?
That technicality is rather unevenly enforced, some effects act that way, while others don’t.
Included Keeper and Alcuin already, excluded Loreweaver because of potential infinity hearts (draw heart, replace heart, draw replaced heart again, repeat)
Sabovet and Magmar are gonna hard counter pretty much every Build minion/ Structure deck forever, but unless Paradigm is the new lavaslasher for vet I highly doubt it will limit play of build cards so entirely
I mean I expect paradigm to be rampant because everyone gonna want to try the structure minions? Polarity and aspects for Vanar. Ritual banishing, punish, DT and the new minion that kills in death. Who’s not countering them is the real question. I guess you can’t spiral counter structures with a stone to Spears. This one in particular I don’t think you can let transform (unlike hulk, kill it before or after as long as your not next to it). probably will want to remove as soon as it transforms if you have to wait that long for a dispel. Even Simulacra Obelysk doesn’t seem to be this valuable. I mean ironcliffs aren’t sudden death, but depending on the faction 3-5 may be. Tigercliff bond meta incoming.

I don’t think anyone believes it’s worth the devs’ time to put in possibly broken Variax cross faction interaction since this has likely never even happened in constructed play.

From my experience, there is a difference between targeted and untargeted opening gambits. If I remember right, targeted ones happen before the minion is on the board, while untargeted do not. I took a two month break and am just returning again, so my memory might be faulty on this.
I thought this card was called ironcliff momentum, not ironcliff monument.
Momentum: the impetus and driving force gained by the development of a process or course of events:
Monument: a statue, building, or other structure erected to commemorate a famous or notable person or event
This is the first non-vet/neutral structure. Will we get other faction specific stuff in other factions now? Walls in Magmar? Grow in Songhai?

Transforming an active minion maintains the active effect. It isn’t exhausted (See Flawless Faie for more details). So Tiger with rush just summons active and the transformation would keep it active, unless it’s like opening gambit and transforms before it is summoned 
That’s pretty dangerous… I’d be interesting if the effect will apply for both players.
When you steal a structure that is in the process of being built, does it restart the count or keep counting down from where it was?
I think it would keep counting down, but would be delayed a bit since it only builds at the start of your turn
