I just got back into duelyst (again), and was wondering if someone could catch me up on all the goings on since ROTB came out. I saw the boss fight thing, what’s that about, is counterplay planning on adding hearthstone-esque adventures?

Boss Battles are going to become a weekly thing I think. You get a free Shimzar Orb for beating it. New expansion is supposed to drop Mid-March,I nothing official has been said but I am pretty sure it will follow the same unlocking format as RotB.
IOS beta was just released so if you have a filthy apple product maybe you can still get in? Entropic Gaze and Variax were slighly nerfed and nobody plays them anymore. I probably missed some small things but I think that is the gist of it. I cant say that I remember you but I am glad that you have rejoined the forums and the game. GLHF

We did get boss fights but…
They are annoying as hell. The first one was too easy, the second one was okay, Juggernaut was a ***** and Zendo is impossible…
I’m tempted to add and that’s why you’re still in silver to the end of that

In all fairness
Calibero was too easy
Guardian was interesting but still a bit too easy
Juggernaut was kinda stupid
Shinkage is the best balanced and most interesting one so far.
IDK, maybe I’m just using the wrong decks but Zendo is just too hard.
Grive Lion would probably cheese it to death but I don’t exactly want tocraft a card just fir one challenge.
I beat it with a Zirix replace deck.
Variax creep cass beat it. So long as you get a kelaino out you should be fine

Oh don’t worry I know how the ROTB packs work, I do have all the cards. I quite a few weeks after the expansion came out, due to school.

Just cheese it with abyssian like they cheese everything. The trick is to heal about 2 health a turn while leaving the forcefield anti rush guy alive. I didn’t have kelaino so I used shadowdancer and it worked wonders. That and furosa that is.
