Hi. This guy loves Vindicator ever since Spikes was released.

Mind you, it was never super good competitively (which may have been your point), but still! Don’t go knockin’ muh favorite decks! I get very protective of my memey babies.

so in effect its actually

"cast 7 spells that give +attack to minions on the battlefield "

Don’t wanna kick a dead horse about wording, but if I may offer a suggestion? If there’s room for more text, simply adding ‘(1 per spell)’ might clarify this issue?

Or a modification to the previous text that says: ‘Cast 7 spells that result in giving +attack to friendly minions’

Well, my scenario is exactly what it says on the card, so that seems extremely misleading?

I like the change, but why would you give it card text that straight-up lies about the requirement?

My original suggested text was the following

Trial: Cast 7 spells that result in giving an existing minion +Attack.

They didn’t take it

:sob: Aw man… but that’s like the perfect way to say it too…

When I said “why would you” do this, that was a general you. Don’t worry, I know you personally don’t get to decide these things.

Your suggestion is perfect and I have no idea why it was rejected for something that’s literally incorrect.

ThantosNoa is a beautiful cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure, and must be protected. Consider giving a like to your local ThanatosNoa today to spread awareness and support his mental integrity’s longevity.

Cries…hatefurance is just bad now. Even with the glitch abuse it was still not top tier. And I had only just found a top notch deck that didn’t use the glitch. Now all non glitch versions are bad, and the glitch versions have been nerfed to hard.

Even changing it to six would have been rough, but would have likely been fair. Seriously this habit of nerfing out of play-ability is a problem. The smaller a nerf the better.

But the end to DDOS and meditate makes me so happy I will swallow my tears and go back to deck designing.

Np my dude, just wanted to say “hey I hear you guys, this is what I thought it should say” before we get another suggestion thread going about how discoverable the cards can be :thonk:

And Sward, I don’t know anyone else.

Why do you feel the need to say that? Like we don’t want to have our own recurring villain

I still feel like this goes a bit beyond “discoverable”, though.
If you can follow the card’s text to the letter and it doesn’t have the effect it says it will, that’s not discoverable, that’s what you call a bug.

I mean, I suspected that scenario (Thraex being able to trigger multiple at once) was not intended, just because I already knew how the card worked before.
But a new player encountering it for the first time would definitely take it at its word, and would probably design their deck assuming that was the intention. The card text puts the emphasis on the number of minions and makes no mention of the number of spells, so as of right now the fact that Thraex can’t do that is a major bug.
