Hi, I’m DandyGiraffe, for a few months now I’ve been playing Duelyst, getting salty about Faie and complaining about how swarm Lilithe never gets any love from the devs (save that one time). In general, trying to be a semi-productive member of the community. You know, the usual stuff. I just guess I’m more of a reddit guy - and I never posted anything here. But, as this post proves, this might well change in the very near future; too many friends were telling me good things about the official forum for me to be able to ignore it any longer.

I would say the forums are a friendly place for Duelyst enthusiasts. There’s a little hate being thrown around from the latest patch, but this doesn’t happen often.

Anyway, welcome to Duelyst Forums, the place of wonderful memes, and sometimes we talk about Duelyst too. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

People were telling you good things about the official forums? Oh boy. Kinda crazy considering most of us here are idiots. That aside, the features of these forums are top notch, and you’ll find a lot of us really are helpful when not trapped inside the “meme” topic.

Memes aren’t that bad either :slight_smile: I think I’ll probably stick to Duelyst subreddit when it comes to, you know, deep discussions about the meta etc. and come here for memes, which aren’t really allowed over there (and for good reasons, I actually like this kind of clear divide).

I quit reading the Duelyst subreddit, but not because of content. The formatting didn’t jive with me, and there was no place for me to express my particular brand of chill. I found a more pleasant atmosphere here overall.

I guess it’s about what you expect. I think Duelyst subreddit is absolutely brilliant when it comes to solid, to-the-point discussions about strategies and meta and game design. And it’s not like there’s no place for more casual conversation there either. But the official forum is undoubtedly different, and considering how much time I spent already on Duelyst, I thought hey, why not talk to people there too, from time to time?

Not sure I’ll take you up on that advice (I think I’m doing alright, S for the past 5 seasons, top50 for the past 2), but I’m always looking for friends and memes :wink: Is your ign the same as here?
