What’s up guys. I just joined today. IDK what to say really, lol. I like playing TCG, and turn-based games. I’ve been over RPGs for years now. I also like playing 2-D fighting games. My favorites are Guilty Gear XX AC +R, and Street Fighter 3rd Strike. Umm, I’m a guy. Lol. I don’t see any like chat lobbies, or chat rooms in game. I am not sure if I just haven’t leveled up enough yet, or what. I played my first season game thing. I won, too. I was like “Oh, crap. This Skeleton bone guy is gonna body me with his little Dervish things; and his flying little guys.” Then I was like, “Oh crap, I’m just gonna use the little power up things so my archer gets like 10 attack.” Then I won. lol. I’m a noob, so don’t hate hehe.

Wow, that was like, a really long rant. Anywho, I hate playing games if I don’t have anyone to talk to. So please feel free to add me as a friend. hehe

Hello, and welcome to the Duelyst forums. Glad to have you aboard.

Sadly, there aren’t any in game chat rooms/lobbies to use. There’s only friend list messaging. :frowning: That being said, we’ve got a little garbage fire we like to huddle around on the forums which suffices for general discussion: This thread’s title has finally been decided on.

There’s also the official discord server as well, which is actually very popular. Either way, many of us here are very friendly and open to friend invites. Enjoy your stay!

Also, fair warning about claiming faction allegiance: Don’t pretend to like Vanar, you’ll be drawn and quartered. Magmar is also suspect to severe repercussions unless memes are had (but if you play a Makantor Warbeast or Lavaslasher, you’ll be publicly shamed).

Also, never talk down about Vetruvian. They’re the “underdog” faction that is significantly better than they used to be.

You know… the more I think about it, just don’t talk about duelyst on the duelyst forums. :wink:

I’m not going to lie, I don’t think I understand half the stuff you guys said. I guess I’m too new to understand. Hey, so where do I find the official server for Discord or whatever? I have only used it once. I probably will be too shy to talk anyways. I am really self conscious about my voice. When I used to pug in WoW people always thought I was a tranny lmfao.

You sound be able to just Google search “duelyst discord” to find the public invite link. It has plenty of discussion places there, where you can just chat. You don’t have to worry about voice chat.

Also, if you’re a fan of twitch, you should check out the folks that like to stream Duelyst (Grincherz, Sylvermyst, Scarzig, Hsuku, and more). They’re all really cool peeps and very helpful and responsive to new players.

Listen to his words about faction siding, everybody hates everybody especially for Vanar and Vet. Even the people who sound like they make reasonable arguments against other factions needing balance, they are quick to evade obvious flaws about their own factions (down with Vanar, three cheers for Songhai). Not saying all debates are like this, but yeah sometimes they are. Come at me now you Vanarcanysts Wall Faies and Flying Vets, SPARTAAAANNN!!! For the glory of his hallowedness Grandmaster Zendo!

Also, welcome @Tenaya! I hope you enjoy your stay here at the forums, where we talk about decks, Duelyst, and pretty much everything else we can think of!

Oh and before your eyes burn away from looking inside the “meme thread,” make sure to check out the various contests we have going on! There’s a LOT of noob oriented contests that more basically just free orbs and even an art contest open until Oct. 6 that you can enter!

Yes, it’s at the very bottom in a tiny little icon. I’m just used to inquiring my Google overlords any time I’m looking to learn about anything at all. This is just another thing Google solves with little to no effort.

Well the fact that the OP posted 2~3 hrs ago shows that they were safe/okay which is good. Don’t see much harm in the statement. Elephants are in rooms and emperors run around naked.

Yeah, welcome to the Duolist forums. I’ll give you a few true fact pointers really quickly I wish these bum gals had given me when I first started.

  1. Don’t wait too long to craft staples. Ask the lying scums here or on Discord what your chosen factions’ staples are and craft them. Give 'em some time to contradict each other.

  2. Playing Grailmaster Vanar to S-Rank is the most fun you’ll have in Duolist. Yeah, that’s right, hands down, but you may want to save the best experience for last.

  3. LadyMyrr is the best Duolist streamer. “Attach a leash to me and take me for a walk please.” --LadyMyrr, Duolist Streamer Extraordinaire

  4. The reddish pink tree avatar is the luckiest. I literally won at a +3.8% higher clip when I used that avatar contrasted with the others. Nobody bothered to tell me this when I started.
