Good taste, sir. I’m still working on Ghibli. Yeah, Wakfu doesn’t get anywhere near enough love, frickin’ great show who’s art style should be held up as a shining example to all.
If I could recommend two to you based on what you like here, I’d say Angelic Layer (desperately needs more love, even worse than Wakfu, has some really amazing fights near the end, don’t watch the dub, don’t read the manga, both are bad) and How to Train your Dragon 1 and 2 (I couldn’t find enough good things to say about these two, but the animation would be a good start. And the main guy and his dragon. And the main girl and her dragon once they get with the program).
Also watch Sword Art Online Abridged, because it’s the best abridged series I’ve ever seen, far outclasses the source material, and even blends drama with the humor later on without falling on its face. So good, anyone who’s ever watched an anime ever should see it.
