Fun thread!
I live in Italy, I’m 32 and I hold a PhD in Computer Science, which allows me to work at the university as security researcher. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, running and going to gym. I think I’m on the weird side, but I guess in a good way, since people seem to like me overall…
It’s nice to see a lot of people on the forums are grown up and with a high level of education, I feel less out of place I guess this is the intended audience for the game then!
I’m a scientist from Finland (social sciences). Cool to see so many academically-oriented people here In my free time I enjoy spending time with family & friends, watching anime- and other series, doing all kinds of things music-related and of course Duelystin’. I also like memes.
Haven’t played those, no, they look nice!
My name is Kevin, nice to meet you all. I’m from Korea, which is presumably one of the most miserable places on Earth. I still try my best though. I was born in 2001, making me a high school student.
Aside from mandatory SAT preparation, my hobbies include reading, watching anime, gaming and listening to electronic music. Here’s the song I’m listening to right now:
just noticed the “waifu artist” title xD
you should be very proud to enjoy the following:

Re:Zero
Ghibli in general
Disney’s Vintage Classics
Frozen
Wakfu (the most underrated show on this list)
Steven Universe
I haven’t watched the rest of those you mentioned
Congrats! My brother might actually be going there.
A classic; haven’t touched it as much as I’d love to though.
This thread is about putting facts down, so this statement seems fitting

I’ll come up with something relevant about me later (maybe).
Thought it’d be fun to make a trend here where we say something pleasant about someone else whose remarked in this thread.
@alexx55 You were fun to play against in the tourney earlier and act quite mature for your age Also, I suggest trying out the game Antichamber if you haven’t already. Awesome game that might appeal if you like puzzle and experience games (think Undertale or Stanley’s Parable meets puzzles).

YES MAN RE:ZERO IS AMAZING EXCEPT FOR SUBARU CUS HE A BITCH (i apologise for my language but its subaru)
yasssss Rem:Zero
summary of subaru:
a girl gives him the most touching, passionate, sweet, lovely confessions of all time
“Nah sry bruh i love dis other girl”
AND SHE SAYS ITS FINE
someone kill that man
This is basically the plot of every harem anime.
the thing is that this isn’t a harem anime.
Subaru is the most useless MC I’ve seen in my life, and Asuna comes close after.
honestly REM gave him EVERYTHING and he like “nah” NAH
Rem was the only remotely human, relatable, or rational person in that entire show. It’s no wonder the internet worships her. Everyone else is an idiot with unreasonable reactions and motives. The plot throws a bunch of crap in your face and never explains 90% of it, even if it spends full episodes making it feel important. Sure, some loop holes or phlebotenum is fine in a show. But this is too much.
It does two things right though. One, it had very strong cliffhangers (although used too much). Two, it tortures Subaru a lot. He deserves it
To be fair to the devs, the anime isn’t finished yet. The light novel had a lot more material (at least from what i heard from Japanese friends) and the anime kinda ended on a weird note, so I’m expecting a LOT more to be explained in the next season.
Subaru does deserve the torture cough cough -burn that man in a fire-
