Well, thatâs depressing. At least this survives Frostburn and Rebuke.
You could say that about dozens of things in this game. If you have removal for a 3/10 provoke, you have removal for a 3/8 provoke.
Yeah, you walk away LOL. But if thatâs your point, how do you play around ranged without removal? Or Ironcliffe? Or Shadowdancer? Removal exists

Removal kills everything; itâs not like this minion is particularly susceptible to removal. Itâs a pretty weak argument to claim a card is weak because it dies to removal.

Say what you want about power level (personally I think this is a sidegrade to Ironcliff guardian that could make Decimate playable), but this card definitely feels âcoolâ enough to get hyped about.
Things that let me cast Immolate 5 times is what gets my Timmy blood pumping. A great Timmy/Tammy card and a great Johnny/Jenny card in one day.

As already said, itâs not that hard to play around the effect unless you are surrounded by provokers but in that case you are already loosing. Looks like a premium version of ironcliffe but without airdrop.

I donât agree in the general cases; if a 4-drop and a 9-drop die to the same removal then that is a big strike against the 9-drop. This issue doesnât apply to the Exorcist though, so I agree there.

Really like itâs flavour but itâs a bad card.
We all thought that the vet 4 mana 1/5 was strong but the start of your next turn clause ruined it.

This thing has to jump through an absurd amount of hoops to get value. It has to live and be damaged, or it has to live and another minion has to live and be damaged, and even then itâs just healing unless thereâs an enemy that was left in the blast radius for some strange reason. For the same amount of mana a lavaslasher just tears somethingâs face off for you.
Edit: This would be decent/good/amazing for six or seven mana if the effect came down at end of turn instead of start. Itâd be a holy immolation with a two-to-three mana 3/8 thrown in, at the cost of having to have a unit survive a turn first. Three immo and three exorcists, run some high-health units, throw in divine bond and aegis barrier, maybe weâd be looking at something there.
But no, instead we get this.

This would be downright outrageous if the Holy Immolation procs at the end of turn. Even with 1 Sunriser, that would be 3 face damage and 6 AoE damage, all at the minimum of T4. Now imagine that with multiple other minions at the same time; Makantor would be crying tears of shame.

P.S If opponent damages War Exorcist but does not kill it then it casts H.I on itself which I think is a very cool idea form a design perspective.
is this card fake??? i know i know if this becomes a thing grovekeeper will shut this down but think about it i know opponent can remove dispel play around it but this might just bring dioltas divine bond back. 4/8 would have been godly. maybe i need to run a couple sanctify (yuck). its a decent legendary almost op 7/10⌠i need to see a 2 mana 2/6 and 3 mana 3/7 card
