Welcome Duelyst fans (and memers) to the first edition of the MSPaint Art Contest!

Are we really doing this? Yes we’re really doing this.

Let’s get ready for our first ever MSPaint Art contest! You get on your paint program of choice and doodle us some Duelyst!

To participate, you must submit an original new piece of Duelyst Art (made by you), be it a General, Minion, or even an Artifact or Spell !
Use that wonderful art-style we call “MSPaint”
(So we don’t need any high polished art, anyone can participate)
You must have a name for your MSPaint included in the post.
The art piece must be easily identifiable without reading the name.
The MSPaint must include atleast 3 different colors on the body of the item.
(This does not include the background.)

Contest Submission phase will last one week.
Starting from 01/15/2018 3:00 PM PST until 01/21/2018 3:00 PM PST.
After that time this thread will lock and we’ll be receiving no new arts or updates.
Duelyst staff will then review the submissions and pick our Top Entries
(Due to forum poll restrictions, we’ll be picking at most 20 Top Entries)
Public voting on the winners will begin the following week.
Starting from 01/22/2018 3:00 PM PST until 01/28/2018 3:00 PM PST
Voting will take place on a new thread/poll where the community can then vote on the winners.

You can submit as many pieces as you’d like, however, only one piece can be chosen from our staff voting.
Feel free to make updates to your art piece as long as the contest is going.
Give a ‘Like’ to the pieces you think deserve a spot on our top entries! We’re expecting a lot of submissions, so help the best stand out from the rest.

here is my glorious entry, depicting everyones favourite vetruvian deck, with the signature fire breathing, desert dwelling thunderhorn.

I’m happy to see a new art contest, but I have some questions.

Can I draw my entries on paper and then color them with a digital program?
Does the coloring program have to be Microsoft Paint? I have a Mac, and thus don’t own that program.

Don’t forget the submission rules

As long as it matches the doodlying style of “MSPaint” this should be fine
Does not have to be MSPaint, just MSPaint “style” (that’s why we put this at the top)
