Howdy folks, if you’re reading this that means the January - February Lore Contest has come to a close and you’re all ready to vote for who will be crowned the forums next Top Model “Loremaster!” Just a few things before we start voting:

You have just been accepted as a 2-drop minion. Write about your experiences!

Rules

Summary
  • Don’t feel pressured. Everyone is privy to their own opinions and while the poll is public, don’t feel like you have to vote for who has the most votes! Just vote for who you think best conveyed the prompt and that’s that!
  • Don’t regret your vote! Be certain that the one you vote for is the one you want to win since you can’t take back your vote after the poll closes!
  • And lastly, have fun! Contests like these are meant to better your Duelyst experience, not dampen it!

I am honestly stuck between @oranos and @scrublordscrub’s submission. That twist at the end of scrublord’s story was great.

I really, really love many of these submissions, but my vote has to go to @oranos.
The use of the dueling narrative, standing in as a metaphor for the fights themselves, was super cool.

A great job by all entrants!

I really enjoyed the world that you evoked in your story.
It was reminiscent of a 1950’s international newscast; it teased enthusiasm and something exotic just beyond the reader’s reach.

It was very tough to cast a vote in this competition. It’s easy to see the passion brimming within these authors.

All stories were excellent reads, but I had to give my vote to @boronian. I like how the writing held such a romantic sense of adventure.

How does this continue now? Voting is over since some hours I guess (11th February is gone) and now the jury is coming in and deciding on a winner?
