Dance of dreams bug?

So, I’ve just played after a match against a dance of dreams starhorn deck who kept summoning infinite minions… and that’s fine. The problem is that after he finished his turn, I insta ended mine, I didnt even had the chance to play, as if i manually clicked on “end turn” or just finished the time to play… end then his turn started again.

Is that a known bug?

Not a bug, just how animations in this game work.

Care to elaborate please?

The whole explanation here:

The short explanation is that you can’t play any cards until all of your opponents animations resolve and if they are using a special script they can play lots of cards at once making a massive chain of animations which can make you outright skip your entire turn. Supposedly you can get around it by using the same script they are using since it speeds up the animation speed which in turn means you don’t skip your turn during a long animation chain.

The DDOS Dance of Dreams deck doesn’t need the script. If you watched the video he specifically mentioned that.

Bassically it’s just how this game works, Duelyst doesn’t skip animation queues so they all have to play out.

You can even send in a support ticket and they will say that it’s not a bug.

Uh, you still didnt elaborate, but i guess i’ll read the linked post.

I know that you just need to input the command and then it doesnt matter how long it takes for the animations, but it’s kinda odd that your turn timer starts ticking before you actually have the control.

Another odd thing is that even if on the very last second of the enemy turn, he manages to input the play of all his hand, how can it be that the animation of 6 cards take away my entire turn?

Bassically he can play everything out and que a ton of animations, they are playing on his turn but he can still play for whatever reason, then a ton of animations play out on your turn and you can’t play.

I have explained this to you before and you don’t seem to get it. It’s just how this game works.

Uh, no you just kept saying “it’s how the game works” without elaborating. But there’s no need to argue. I just wanted to know if it was a known thing. It’s just silly how the turn timer starts to clock.

You sure? I have explained what happens.

Uh, no, not before your last post. But it’s ok, really.

But anyways, I will take my leave.

Oh, that was an elaboration? Ok, didnt notice. Thanks.
