Like @bublublub I also left the game/the forums but I’ve been keeping an eye on this situation for some days now and I had to leave a comment as well, if nothing more than to warn CPG that people ARE watching.
It’s a fucking shame what is happening, pardon me for the language but that is how I feel. We are on the goddamn 21st century and stuff like this still happens. They don’t even care to say something. Then again, it’s always been like this. That was the one of the reasons I left in the first place.

Don’t think the situation will change. I’ve never seen a scenario such as this before with a game and it seems the biggest “shooting yourselves in the foot” kind of thing as well. I feel sorry for people who have been locked out of their accounts for no reason, and even more so by them supporting the game with real money.
CPG may have they hands tied and can’t really do or say anything besides what @ThanatosNoa had said in another topic (I’m @alplod and I’m being kicked out of the game by BN). Namco haven’t said or done anything to help or answer what has happened, to my knowledge. Which makes me quite angry in a sense and disappointed in another.

Hi Folks,
I’ve got a broader thread on this topic for everyone here, but I wanted to chime in here and point out a few specifics:
- The only reason for these regional blocks are legal ones which prevent us from doing business in some regions of the world (including Russia).
- We have no plans to add more regions to this list. The only way this could happen is if either the United States or another country enacted a law or series of laws which prevented us from legally doing business within a specific region.
- From the moment BNEA merged Duelyst into our platform, these blocks were in place. We did not wait until after anyone had made purchases to put them in place. Anyone who was located in a blocked region and then made a purchase would have had to circumvent the region blocking in order to do so.
- Circumventing the region blocking is, for legal reasons, against our EULA and Terms of Use.
Again, I understand that this is difficult, and even painful to hear and understand. @ThanatosNoa and I have escalated the issue as far up the chain as we can, and we will continue to work towards resolving these issues. However, as the issues are legal in nature, I don’t see them being resolved in a favorable manner in the near future.

Why didn’t you shout warnings to those ‘some regions including Russia’ about this?
Can you give us a less vague term and identify exactly all those regions?

Ok, I can’t prove that this statement is incorrect. I will just say it again. I didn’t use any VPN to link accounts or make purchases. I used steam client, could this be the reason?
- Still, though I can’t prove I didn’t violate any rules, let’s for a moment consider I didn’t. Will I be able to get a refund for diamonds I bought?
4)Are all the money spent on the game by me, other Russian players and kickstarter backers BEFORE BN took over Duelyst just wasted as of now?
- I travel much. Will my account work, when I’m in allowed countries? If no, then why?

Well, I was able to buy some diamonds right now, without using any VPN. From Russia. Below you may find a

7$ is a little price to prove I’m not lying. And you are. Or you are just transfering some info from the liers.
Yeah, I know video doesn’t prove anything to the lawyers. My video in addition is of very low quality. But I hope it may raise some questions at least.
At least, it may raise some questions about my “inability to create an account without workarounds”. If you’re lying here, why should we trust you there?
