This is a battle of attrition, not swiftness. While you may choose to play your biggest threat turn after turn, any unspent mana while fighting Archonis causes a feedback. Overpower Archonis and you will earn a free Core Spirit Orb. In addition to this, you'll also earn a Boss Crate, which can be opened with a key purchased from the shop for 500 Diamonds. Curious, is it possible to beat this boss with Songhai specifically mid-range who has no fatties whatsoever? I will attempt to find out.

EDIT: After trying for hour and a half, failed miserably. Maybe someone better than me could think a cheap Songhai deck to win with (w/o using a bunch of legendaries).

Actually, I think it’s possible to do it with any deck, I just dumped anything that comes to my mind and got it on first try for every faction on each matches.

Songhai was lucky but … that was exactly my bet … I’m a Gambler :wink:

I started crafting songhai card a week before UP. It took me some grinding but I finally have my Midrange kaleos list complete.

Have the 300 gold sets did help

For the next hour, I’m gonna try different deck lists to beat him. Let’s see how much I cry within that hour won’t we.

EDIT: So I think it was about 4-5 times, but I lost track soon after the existential crisis thing flared up again.
