Oh God, sorry guys. I was busy with my little brotherās funeral services (R.I.P Marco Luna December 31, 2004 - August 23, 2012) and came down with a pretty severe cold nearing the end of it (just a bad cough now, no more dillusional sweats thank God). Tack on some poor time management in regards to college on my part and WABLAMO!
Anyways, thanks @oranos, @isbee, and all others whoāve been patient with the contest these past few days. As the āhostā you have my most sincere apologies for being so lax with the administration of the event. I hope that this doesnāt spoil your view of the Lore Contest as a whole and I hope to continue working with the wonderful community we have here!

We may never meet in this life, and realistically we have no idea how long this forum will be around; regardless, I consider you a friend. If there were any way to help you more, I would gladly do so.
Pleaseā¦take all the time you need to be with the ones you love. Nothing is more important.

All I can say is that Iām sorry for your loss. I have no idea how bad it can feel to lose someone so close to you, so all I can say is that.
If you ever need any help weāre all right behind you, so I think we would all help you as much as possible.

Congratulations and MANY thanks to @oranos, @mebler92, and @degenerator for participating in this times Duelyst Lore Contest! Your submissions are what keep this train going and without them I seriously doubt that weād still be having them.
Anyways, onto the wieners:
Congrats to @oranos for winning first place! on his beautiful rendition of Gor. Simple yet elegant, the piece brought to the lore contest a new style of writing in itās approach to this (last) monthās prompt! The journals/logs did a lot to bring us closer to the scene and the fresh style seemed to garner much appreciation from the community!
Coming in second is the egdy egg sister himself, @degenerator! The rationale on Paxās in-game effect and connection to Vetruvia makes a lot of sense and brought to my face an āOh, shit! That makes a lot of sense!ā moment (though she makes more sense synergieed with Zirix, the characterization is on point 
)
And coming in 3rd is @mebler92 with a worthy edition of Vetruvian Lore/Characterization! The take of Rae bringing a ray of hope to a Vetruvia bereft with strife, inequality, and slavery takes my breath away! Makes you wonder why the brave little martyr always targets the wraithling rather than the BM behind it 
Anyways, expect your rewards soon!
