AlphaCentury surely know how to break the game. Good job lol.
The actual issue is they never fixed the real issue.
Many look at the original DDOS deck and raise pitchforks but in actuallity you could always rope into your opponents turn given enough spells/minions cast, as has been evident over the games history, not just recently, although recent builds push the concept further than ever possible.
But as Alpha mentioned he likely wont be optimising or playing this much, simply pointing out that their patchwork fix was a poor attempt when what should be addressed is the way spell animations work during gameplay.
T2 has a script that both enabled and stopped this interaction since if the opponent has sped up animations too you can’t rope into their turn, maybe a ingame option to turn off animations is something to consider in the future?
I’d prefer the in-game option to speed them up not using a script. CPG has done a great job making spell animations, many of them are beautiful, I don’t want to always skip them.
I kinda prefer the ability to skip current animation by clicking, don’t know how hard it is to implement.
Edit. But my pitchforks are always sharp and ready
Y tho Alpha, just why?

I think I came up against something like this in high silver but the guy was also using twin fangs. Or maybe that was just a regular dance of dreams deck.
Can’t we just play the game like normal people?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…HAHA…Ha…haha…hahaha…ha
…nope.
I support this.
Get ready to see this all over ladder, he put it on reddit.
The ability of this deck to go off on t2 is disgusting, and the consistency provided by only needing two cards to go off is pretty good.
The ddos effect basically guarentees a win via rex and face punching smoothly woven into flameblood and mirrorims which is honestly quite disgusting.
This is much faster and just as consistent as the first ddos, and I find that scary as all hell. I played pre nerf stratty and that beat first ddos piloted by alpha himself many times, as I was hard laddering that day and ran into him repeatedly.
While too slow for 10 minion strategos isnt exactly “slow” it was manageable, but this is disgusting. Still, dont expect me to not play this, I and probably many others have been waiting to see dance of memes be viable for a long long time.
It’s useless as long as you have the script atleast.
I’m pretty sure the reason @alphacentury makes these obnoxious decks is because he’s still salty that Scrolls got shut down and wants to take it out in us… I don’t blame him.
i will never understand why the spell animation prevents you from doing things. the animations should be triggered by spells, but not have any impact on gameplay
What cpg should do is make it so that animations from your turn end once your turn is over. The effect on the game should be conserved, but the animations shouldn’t have to continue past your turn.
