@yaviey we were told new content is coming in Q4 2018. we’re nearly a month into Q4 with no news. any info you can offer would be appreciated.

it’s up to cpg if they want to make expansions or not. if it’s the latter, we can’t do anything about it.
sometimes i think to myself if i should have given cpg money by buying diamonds, but i also remember how i’m getting 4 whites and 1 blue for the past 5 core orbs and how the silver pack is -still- 50 diamonds more expensive than the lowest amount of diamond you can buy.

I would be fine with just regular Balance patches. For me, the game could last for years with no expansions with a patch every 4-6 months

24 hours on a business day and no response? what exactly does @yaviey do all day as community manager for duelyst?
She is a CM for another game as well.
Do you want to eventually achieve near perfect balance or to just switch the metas up?
Well, to be fair:
- She is not obliged to answer request from any player immediately.
- She can’t tell anything if CPG doesn’t tell her anything, and I guess it’s the case.

The second one. Reaching perfect Balance is impossibile, there are always strong cards and weak cards. With some nerfs and some buffs the meta changes completely, so its possible to create various metas just by changing already existing cards

Of course. So it’s always safe to assume yaviey is moderating for other games when she’s not around. That game is called Blessed Unleashed, and as it is more profitable than Duelyst, it isn’t odd it’s more prioritized. The game is shit, by the way.

It’s made by a Korean studio. (BN is only publishing it.) It’s more or less destined to be garbage.

So, all CMs got more than one game… then if they don’t show up inside one community of one of those games they are “justified” cause they are busy with other games…repeat the same excuse for all the games… how do i sign to become a CM?

It depends. As for Duelyst, since BN doesn’t really care about the game, we can infer they are fine with moderators not giving it much attention. I’m not the one to decide what is right and what is wrong; I’m just speaking matter-of-factly.

If a CM works for a big company like BN they often have several games.
Thanatos worked for CPG at a time where they had only one game so he was always here. He also rose through our community to his job, so he had a different kind of investment.
yaviey is probably not able or doesn’t want to answer our questions. Maybe she contacted someone higher up to ask what she can or should say. Till then she wouldn’t answer because “I ask someone, wait some days please” doesn’t look good.
There are a lot of possible answers and all this speculating doesn’t do anything.
