I thought of making a thread dedicated to small problems I have with the UI, but ditched the idea in favor of empathizing the one point that actually matters. Feel free to add your suggestions too.
Navigating on the cards section kinda sucks- There are basic prismatic cards on show all the time, undisenchantable cards mixed with disenchantable ones… hey, thats uncomfortable, you know?
And you know whats not uncomfortable? Tags. Tags make it all better. I suggest this system should be expanded on to make navigation good. Keep in mind- if its already kinda bad, imagine in two years.
There are many ways to go about it. Having all of them would of course be the greatest. I’ll list some.
-
Add a negative variable to tags.
Problem: "I wanna search all cards, but I dont wanna see anything from RotB, cause I know I dont want anything from it"
Solution: search bar -> “-rise” -> Rise cards wont show up. -
Add a “disenchantable” tag.
Having awful cards you cant disenchant from the faction you will never play is bad, and having to go through them every time you’re pulverizing your stuff to craft much needed staples is especially bitter. Add a tag related to this, and it should make everybody’s life easier. -
Let the players make their own tags.
You know what would be really comfortable? Not having to alt tab and make the effort to look for whatever file you used to note down that decklist from that idea you had that day. Imagine doing this in the mobile version, how tiresome.
Let the player tag cards- this way one can keep track of what they are missing for their next deck, what cards he may want to get rid of, which fit which archetype… hell, I bet a bunch of people would even make a waifu tag. I know I would. -
Display what expansion the selected card belongs to in the collection.
The ultimate tagmaster: After going through the “-rise -bonds” cards and tagging some as “PossibleReplacer”, you go and search for that tag exactly, and in that selection, you check what cards are from Core and what are from ShimZar without having to type the respective filters in, so you can easily know what orbs you perfer to buy.
Thats it people. Drop your suggestions below.
I wonder if devs care, or can afford to care. Hope they do, cause it seems like it would be hell to navigate with more expansions.
