To be honest, dood, if anyone wants to be competitive in the upcoming meta, you basically have to play either vet or magmar because so far, those two seem to be the most and only OP.

Play songhai if you want to lose basically.

I bet someone named Jay will piss everyone off by making infinite knuklestorm deck or smth like that. And it will be the new cancer.

So I hope not everything is lost for Hai while this exceptional player exists.

Not to mention he had a new mantra in the works before a single card was announced.

welp, given the mood of the thread hate furnace is EXCEEDINGLY ACCURATE

The other thing is the fact that with this new magmar card, the meta will most likely become aggro. Songhai had one good aggro deck and it is gonna be bad now that crescent spear is rotating. The one deck that could have countered Magmar.

I think we again had a knee jerk reaction to this like underlord. Is it going to be very strong and meta relevant? Yea, but is it going to break the game? Perhaps not. Like why build a clunky deck when you can just play makantor and curve out? It may be a little overtuned, but it may be just fine to.

Effect is busted as heck, but this is single-handedly the hardest condition to pull off. Casting attack buffs on (any) minions may sound easy to pull off, but casting them from any besides your minions sound pretty stupid even with the insane passive and a payout. You’d need stuff to stick, which usually takes you to a later stage in the game (6-9mana). In order for this to be good, you will need cheap minions to buff, the buff spells and potentially good cards that benefit from rush and frenzy. Excluding card draw for the deck, I am already unconvinced this card will see any sort of competitive play a week after release (if no other support cards are released). 4/10 might be a meme deck at some point

Edit: At the point of card draw, you’re probably left with no hand cards as you try to top deck any sort of minions (which were cheap and weak to begin with to use buffs on). You’re also vulnerable to dispels and single target removals early on, giving you a very large handicap very quickly, reducing your options for counterplay (imagine having 3 cards on turn 2, and 1 on turn 4)

We heard you like Elucidator and makantor but hated how you always had to draw them. now you get both forever if you play ANYTHING.

if youre running amplification, diretide and fortitude, you’ll probably be geting rekted by no immediate value/10 and buffing before your opponent acts. if you run effulgent bloodrage and primal, your curve is so high. Either way, its no furor chakkram, so no buffs, in fact, 5 of your 6-12 buff spells cant get frenzy + rush value, and your not likely to be rushing anything more than 6 attack or 7+ mana. Its okay at best. I doubt topdecking rush frenzy will burst for more than any Morin Khur.
