What does “decension” mean (new Vet’s BBS)? I checked in a couple of dictionaries and they don’t have that word. Or is it a typo (of descension, maybe)?

I feel like Abyss general will get some nice BBS targets in the upcoming expansion. For example:
Lunatic Cultist
4 mana 0/2
Dying wish: restore 7 health to your general, draw a card
Holothur
2 mana 2/2
Opening gambit: summon a 0/1 shade with “dying wish: summon a shade”
The Bloodmoon
8 mana, 0/666
Structure
Dying wish: if you have sacrificed at least 6 minions this game, summon Horror, Klaxon, Spectral Revenant, Moonrider, Vorpeal Reaver, and Death knell.

but to be honest 5 mana 4/4 heal 5 draw a card feels weird
and if shades all have dying wish summon a shade then wouldnt that make it like sarlac but better?

From rank 11, the rank you’re placed at after a season in S. Jogda went from 11 to S in ~45 wins, I forget the exact number. I thought my personal record of 70 (from rank 12 or so) was impressive but 45 is ridiculously lucky. People concede to big names.

When someone says they don’t like duelyst
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Duelyst. The plays are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of ccg mechanics most of the combos will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also John Terviranus’s frustrating outlook, which is deftly woven into his design choices- his personal philosophy draws heavily from the “Lost levels” conference, for instance. The players understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these plays, to realise that they’re not just effective- they say something deep about CCG’s as a whole. As a consequence people who dislike Duelyst truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the ingenuity in an 8gates combo list, the finisher of a mantra plus a lyogiggle emote, which itself is a cryptic reference to the original beta version of songhai’s burst abilities. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Eric M Lang’s genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools… how I pity them. 
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Serpenti tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the Crystal wisps’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 Ranks of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

Spiral Technique is quite boring. It’s definitely boring to lose to it, that’s for sure. I don’t know things the other way around, but I suppose it’ll be pretty much the same.
