Thank you! I have a cold, but I am generally feeling happy.
The Purification Crusade
Enjoy your cake, you filthy swine.
Having a cold during your cakeday means sharing the gift of cake with the many uninvited viral visitors; enjoy it and revel in their collective diabeetus!
Just opened up this thread today after many months; bear with me.
Which one? There were at least 3 to 4 from what I saw. The one called TavernRumble so far is my favorite, since there are units that you place on a grid. That by default makes it the closest to Duelyst that you’ll find out of the deckbuilding games on the android store. It also mimicked Slay The Spire quite a bit but not 100%. Problems being that you either have to buy classes other than the starting one: while you can get them with an in game currency, the price just isn’t worth the time you would otherwise sink into the game. Lucky I had an ancient Google Play gift card. The devs still change things, recently added a new faction a few months ago. One called “Lophis roguelike” is rather interesting but I feel that it’s lacking something, it also has a similar problem with the in game currency. The last one that I had actually enjoyed playing is “Dungeon Tales”, although it has the unfortunate side affect of requiring the user to view ads in order to progress. At least with this one the other class seems attainable through pure gameplay, all that’s required is to reach level 20 with the starting class. If you play it off and on it should be possible in month or less. This one mimics Slay the Spire the most.
Well they are not recent, but the Fire Emblem and Advanced Wars games seemed similar Duelyst, in that there’s units you move around on a board. Not much beyond that, but since you mention FFT later on, it’s worth stating at least.
If that’s the one where they’re doing a power rangers impression while breaking the fourth wall the whole time, I’ve got and played that one. I think it was alright but the pixel art seemed a bit too plain to my taste so I didn’t really enjoy that aspect enough. The rest of the game seemed fine, maybe I’ll have to revisit it after I finish some of my other single player games like Celeste.
I somehow missed the opportunity to click on this link at the time, and now it’s expired.
Could anyone send me an invite to the Refugee’s discord town?
Just come to my server instead!
Happy to deliver. I’ll also PM it to you. Let me know if you need it again!
I’ll only come after winning the ultimate word-to-card contest, and you’ll welcome me with a shower of radioactive flower petals.
this thread is slowly dying too… This worries me
It’ll be dead forever sooner than we’d like.
Another pixel art time killer on the play store is “dungeon cards”.
Shh… It’s okay. Let it go. It’ll all be over soon.
Speak for yourself.
Rogue Adventure
I am going through the lore-
Apparently Argeon is quite a big jerk rather than the righteous knight that i thought he was
@terrarius
personally, i always found his face very battle hungry and very post-coke-snort. never did trust that kind of face.
@galaxydueler i miss the time when there were 3-5 conversations going all at the time here
I have returned
Kind of sucks the game’s going to die, but I guess I kind of expected it to happen sooner or later…
At least with it is the memory of the MASSIVE likeathon we enacted upon @isbee; was that the reason for the start of angery eyes?
You know, I don’t think there was much of a reason for it. I know I stole the googly eyes from an image Isbee posted. I eventually added the angry eyebrows and never looked back. I quite like it, to be honest. I’ve made it my thing.
