I am here to hold a Candle. :magsad: :candle:

That is all. This Month I have already too much death on my mind, so this is just exhausting and I don’t have the energy to ramble. I hope you guys find a way to save our lovely game. This end have here we already knew would come.

@ Boronian I am counting on you if there are some good news.

I’d maybe still play duelyst 2, but I’d be really pissed. and would refrain from spending money at least because CPG would’ve shown themselves capable of throwing it all out.

and not every game ‘gets replaced’ we still have many older games in spite of them having had many sequels

I also got a lot of enjoyment out of it and I do think that the experience was worth spending some money on it, but I spent that money with the intent of getting to play this game for a long time (with breaks in between perhaps)

I’m fine with it if this is the end for duelyst and also the end of the money I spent on it, but if they were to create a duelyst 2, that would feel like a kick in the balls

I mean the transition from beta to finished product changed the game so much it may as well have been Duelyst 2. It was rough. So in my mind we would be getting D3. If I thought it had promise I would likely invest again, I would just continue to be salty and mad about it…just like I still am about the 2draw thing.

Given we did not completely lose our collection at that point so its not as rough, but assuming they again had a generous model that would not be that bad, because it would all be brand new having a full collection would not do me much good as I would spend a long time just mastering one faction anyways.

Again I am devastated this is happening, I would be mad at d3, but I would still be on board. A fresh start could be good…really I blame Joseki for most of Duelysts downfall, as I think literally every bad design move about the game came from him, which in turn kept the game from growing as much as it may have. So a fresh start with some time for the dust to settle, hopefully CPG having learned from there mistakes, and being untainted by “frustration” could be a very good thing.

I also had a complete collection.

Given that Duelyst started off as ‘draw until hand is full’ before transitioning to 2, and eventually 1 draw, we can logically conclude that Duelyst 3 will let you draw half a card each turn, and Duelyst 4 will have you play only with the cards you are dealt.

Silly you. Next month you’re having duelyst 5 already!

And Duelyst 5 will come to you and take your favourite MTG deck away.
