Nocturne:Please help with the draft of this deck

Hi guys,it has been a long time since i last time played duelyst however 1 card that caught my eye was Nocturne(abbysain epic)I was wondering if its possible to make a hybrid deck of Wraithlings and Shadow creeps using obliterate as a finisher or board wipe.

Here is my link for the deck: [holyfuck]MTozMDEsMjozMDgsMTozMTQsMTozMjAsMTozMjQsMjozMjcsMTozMzAsMjozMzEsMTozMzMsMzozMzcsMjoxMDAyMCwxOjEwOTc2LDI6MTA5ODEsMToxMTA4NCwxOjE5MDI3LDE6MTkwNDksMjoyMDA3MCwzOjIwMDcyLDE6MjAxNTQsMjoyMDIwMSwxOjIwMjEzLDE6MjAyMjcsMzoyMDI0MywyOjMwMDA1LDI6MzAwMTQ=

Please keep in mind this is still a draft and if anyone can help me modify it i would be really thankfull

its generally good form to add a picture of your deck so people dont have to leave the forums to help you with your deck

like so

the first problem i see is that you have a LOT of single cards, though i suppose that you have to work with what youve got.

it looks like you are going the control route with lots of healing and some big endgame threats. the problem is that you only have 1 of each of said game enders. try to double up or triple up on whatever you really want to play.

with your super low curve it looks like you need more draw. 1 sojourner and 1 rite is not enough. since you are going for a hybrid deck lkian could actually work in this deck. spelljammer would also help. even just more sojourners would make this deck better. not to mention you need to draw your endgame.

swap out your mystics for more heralds. you dont have enough minions that could be healed for 2 for it to matter(besides, the ones worth healing have dying wish or rush)

add more dioltas or shieldmasters to help you survive the mid game.

Thank you man gonna work on it

You can play creep and wraithlings nocturne but it’s better for cass. Lilithe still can night fiend, obliterate, and shadow dancer to make use of creep, but the variax won’t interact with them and lilithe cannot make as many (cass’s BBS can easily account for 4-5 of your creep especially if variax or obliterate is your topdeck) and wraithlings don’t interact creep in any special ways. There’s zoning possibilities, I’d guess. Tiles lilithe isn’t a thing (?) but you can do it

Everhard did some nocturne decks if you want you could ask him ingame. Here are some videos:

You have both swarmy cards and creep tile cards, which adds up to being a bunch of garbage together (ignoring good/developed nocturne decks). It will help for you to pick one and run with it.

Here’s an example of the process from your deck to refining towards swarm.

Deck 1 - Basic

Core pieces - Soulshatter pact, Gloomchaser, Shadow Watcher, removal cards

From here we’d seek to further swarming and synergizing with it.

Deck 2 - 1180 Spirit (minus Spec Rev)

By this point, you can really branch out further into various swarm methods (Aggressive with cards like Deathfire Crescendo, Single buff with cards like Blood Baronette, Wraithling Fury & Shadow Reflection, or Swarm buff with cards like Shiro Puppydragon).

Last I saw, aggro/phantasm rush decks were big with abyssian, but you choose your way to play. Nocturne hybrid decks for lilithe and aggro cassyva were big too, but those are more expensive decks.

I don’t see any Nocturnes in your list. But that is what OP wants to have

Nocturne decks are fun if you can pull it off but if your opponent removes the nocturne quickly the deck falters because all the synergy depends on the Nocturnes.

Keep in mind Nocturne is mostly a meme, it’s very difficult to make it competitive, and difficult to play competitive Abyssian in general without crafting some expensive cards.

However, @deathsadvocate has a pretty decent hybrid deck you should take a look at. Look for key cards and concepts, then fill in the more expensive pieces with budget options.

Thanks for the shoutout.

Check Creep City under Lilith, and stitched under cass in my master thread here: DeathsAdvocate’s Master Thread: Unearthed Prophecy

The more fringe abyss decks are certainly not budget friendly, make sure you really want to invest before you do.

If you want Nocturne, from @deathsadvocate master thread :

Lilithe “Creep City”

Cassyva “Stitched”

well if you think about it you get more value from the lilithe bbs

You’re absolutely right. Didn’t even notice due to how the deck was (many 1 of’s).

Here’s one I just cooked up. I think the first important thought process is: If my nocturne dies, which synergy to I want to hold me up - creep or swarm?

With cards like Abyssal and Ooz over cards like Blood Baronette and Crypto, as well as Cass over Lilithe, this is clearly more intended for creep over swarm (again, assuming nocturne falls). Plenty of remove with tiger, lure, punish and dark trans. The dark trans is a nifty nocturne synergy, but threw it in for sake of even more removal (which is obnoxious when dealing with cass/abyss).

Soulshatter pact may not suit in this deck, but this may be a more suited and affordable nocturne deck than your original @savetheracoon

only for the nocturne, which require that you draw it. cass just has the consistency. teching anti swarm is basically “and just in case I encounter a wild Lilithe”
