Okay, well now I’m really confused. Was this serious or no?
I feel like this card plays a really important role in the creep archetype, and offers another reward for making the board mildly uncomfortable for the opponent. It is capped as early game removal to only be as good as your dedication to creeping, and can actually scale to change the late game unlike a lot of the other tools available to the creep archetype (aside from obliterate of course)
In what way would it need to be nerfed to make you feel better about it?

What are speaking about? Serpenti is nerf proof.
On topic, if you really struggle against creep, try Lightbender the shadow (creep) remover.

The nerf where they raised his cost and took away rush… Man, he used to be so OP…
They gave the old version to Magmar, there is now a cult around it.

I have nothing to add to this than that can we pls keep one of like the two viable decks there currently are for Abyss? Abyss had a single op card in Desolator and even that was nerfed. I don’t mind too much, just want to keep on planning for new decks without taking into account each (often unnecessary) Abyss nerf.

uh deso is still really good, it just means they won’t remove it with face as often as before

tbh if there was a 4 mana spell “steal 2 health from enemy general and return this to your hand” people would run it

Yep I know that it’s still good. Spec Rev is also still good, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it deserved the nerf.
deso didn’t deserve a nerf but the nerf did next to nothing, spec rev needed a nerf imo
its potential with chakram is really good and i appreciate having an extra turn to play around it

I wouldn’t say next to nothing, Deso is a minion which is usually played 2-3 times, so that 1 dmg difference accumulates over the game.
I’d also like an extra turn to play around Makantor, but we can’t always have what we’d like… except everyone against Abyss though I do sometimes die of boredom against Xor Maehv

If I’m playing Cass and you Ghost Lightining my single Desolator on board tho, I’m probably on the winning side of that trade.
If I’m playing Lili, your Ghost Lightnings and Panddos will be long gone by the time Deso enters the board
