Experiments on Animals

Credits @bepoest for the deck idea. Anyway, here’s how you combine three memes into one: build huge Calculators, swarm the field with Rawr/pets into Chakram and get the occasional humongous Abomination out with the help of the Tigers and Tiger Puppers from Letigress. Inkhorn Gaze and Mantella are super important, since with the help of the 1-mana weeners and Chakram your Abomination can acquire plenty of “fun & interactive” keyword combinations. 22/22 Rush, Celerity, Ranged? Check. 16/17 Rush, Frenzy, Forcefield? Check. They’re never gonna see it coming (okay the times when I hid a Tiger in a corner maay have been a little obvious. Still most dudes are probably of amaze when these dank combos start coming out.)

Z0r is there for added draw & lolz, also for the first 5 times I played him in this deck I got 4 Mechaz0rs reeee  Wr was 14-6 (70 %) in Gold/Silver.

4 mechazors in 5 games made me question my zor’s loyalty

I’m obviously super happy that you went with this silly idea and quite impressed by your win rate. Thank you Miguel!
I’m getting really close to craft the Epics and Legendaries for your pet decks, to be honest.

With this deck are Celerity Abominations common, rare or super rare in your opinion?

Heh thank you for the idea, it was really fun to test! Abominations with Celerity are pretty rare (you need to spam Rawr/Mantella/Gaze to get them) but I think I got 3 of them out of about 6-7 humongous Abominations (25-30+ stat points), plus 3-5 smaller Abominations. So, you don’t get a good Abhorrent play every game, but sometimes it can be pretty hilarious (and ofc you’d prefer to get the Abomination Rush which is more important than getting Celerity).

That’s why I felt obligated to add Elkowl. Twice the chances. Unfortunately here it may clog things up. You kept it nice and sleek.

Yeah, I didn’t really have room here for yet another 3-mana play but it’s always possible to substitute for Tiger. Another Abhorrent deck which I have in the works does actually feature Elkowl instead.

Cursed Blades

“One more time after the denial”, as we say in Finland. So, here’s another wonky Abomination deck to enjoy. General playstyle of the deck is very much in line with artifact swarm style which I’ve grown to love over the years: equip artifacts, boosting up either your general, your minions or both, go for huge combos with Grincher (finally got that sweet Mindlathe + Ankh thing going this time) and play mind games with your opponent (even a couple of weenie minions become suddenly super scary when you have both Grimwar and Chakram equipped).

Letigress is a natural match for the deck, benefitting both from your general attacking (which is generally what you’d like to do when you play artifacts wow) and giving nice rush minions to abuse with Chakram and other shenanigans. Elkowl gives a second chance at giving your Abominations rush and plays well with the different combos. Matter Shaper, Lost Artificer and Artifact Hunter are artifact support and generally fun to play (I had a very weird game where my artifacts were stolen twice with Droplift, and both times I immediately destroyed them with Matter Shaper :D). Groovy Lion is just super groovy, what can I say. Anyways Abhorrent is a little bit of a plan B in this deck, but when it goes off it’s just super sweet. Some basic Miguel Madness for y’all

Wr was 13-7 (65 %) in Gold.

Ahaha wow, the deck is even crazier than it seemed.
Would you have trouble finding back the replay link of the Flames of Madness moment? I’d love to watch that.

Vetruvian+Abyssian is crazy. I had a Furor Chakram + Swarmking Scarab once and enjoyed it a lot.

This deck really sports a creative flare I feel you don’t always see nowadays.

Finally got to playing your Adventures of Devouring Fish deck and wanted to thank you for it. Even if it’s not strong it sure is fun (in the game I just played I had 5 Dagonas: Unseven + 2 * Releaser + 2 * Keeper).
Discussed it a bit with folks in MDL server (giving you a proper credit). Changes I will probably make are switching to Lilithe and replacing Punish, Lurking Fear & Vellum for Ritual Banishing, Wraithling Swarm & Spelljammer.

Awesome! I think you beat my Dagona record with that deck (4)

Also, the Cult of the Lurking Fear appreciates your efforts.

Update: I finally took the effort to craft some of the most expensive mechs, so expect to see some builds in the next coming months :robot:

Eager to see your touch on Abyssian Mechs!

Just be aware that Multi-hit Deceptib0t is sometimes disappointingly buggy, more frequently when Metaltooth is involved.
S.I.L.V.E.R. is fine (except in cases above), I mean the only bug it has is the happy exponential Grow and Backstab.
If you get to play Project Omega and Echo Deliverant, there’s a double stat bonus (happy) bug IIRC, but I don’t have Omega yet so that’s a deck I need to try.

PS: @alplod you’re still alive! Glad to see you post.
