AAAAAAAAHAHAHaAAAAAAAAAAA
That’s great.
AAAAAAAAHAHAHaAAAAAAAAAAA
That’s great.
I mean, assuming they play Q’orrhlma’a before playing Hiogi, Magesworn is still a really good counter if they don’t have an ephemeral saved or if they can’t reach Magesworn
This is crap. I don’t have enough words.
I’m actually OK with ROK version which actually damages opponents. It may be weird, but it at least is properly killing opponent.
But DDoS Hai is an abomination. It forbids opponent to actually play a game.
I’m deeply dissapointed by the support’s answer. So it’s OK that some decks just literally leave some players not playing a game, but watching crappy cartoons instead.
The only thing I’m going to do is not to concede. I can just do some other stuff while this DDoSer loses his time waiting for me to die of fatique. And of course report him for anything.
I just hope that devs will do smth about it. It was support’s answer and this is politics.
Guess meditate to 1 mana. I hate you guys. Another 0 mana hai spell we will lose.
EDIT. Really, speaking about the support’s answer. Do they consider us idiots or are they idiots themselves? After their answer it seems that you actually can play while these animations play.
that dissallowes one person to play. Shit. I’m as angry as in the times of Russian banishment.
Might as well be Russian banishment when you play against DDOShai.
I doubt that the support fully understood what was being reported here and instead just gave the answer that they would normally give to someone who had the early seconds of his turn being shaved off by still running animations.
That being said, the deck is pretty much exploiting the limitations of the game mechanics in order to get an unfair advantage. Will be interesting to see how the solution to that will look like.
I guess that. That’s the problem. We get generic answer on a real issue.
Lmao thanks for ruining Songhai again @eurasianjay
Next time you find something this game-breaking, take it to world’s instead of telling us
I should stress my contribution to this archetype is rather limited this time round, Alpha and the other members of Bagoum did the horses work so full credit/hatemail /ohgodstopmessagingme should go to them.
It’s not like you didn’t warn us 2 weeks ago
Unranked is saving the day from this again
Guys, I have to say. I actually can’t blame the inventor of nuclear weapons. The user is another story.
Not to be disrespectful, but I doubt that you (or anybody) would have understood the full extent of what was going on just by reading a support message that presumable spoke about some animations taking too long to play out.
Cut them some slack. They didn’t have the benefit of having a whole thread explaining the issue to them
Interesting question. Einstein certainly blamed himself for his contributions to the Manhattan Project.
Yea, I’d feel terrible if I was playing th…
Oh…not like this
Maybe I’m just taking it almost personal since I have seen lots of their generic answers before… My bad.
I never was refering to you. Just an offtopic about nuclear weapons.
I had no doubt that you would actually have a lot of pleasure playing this list.
But I can’t. I’m a scientist myself. I can understand the pleasure of discovering things just for the sake of discovering. I would certainly blame myself if I discover smth dangerous, but not others.
DDOShai is the manhattan project of duelyst.
The DST is always very quick and available to answer, I definitely give them that.
At the time I made my report (about a week ago) this issue wasn’t yet a thing, but was clear from the replay that the animation stole time from my turn and their answer in front of the evidence of an oddity, frankly, seemed just abrupt.
That’s what I meant, but shhhh, don’t tell anyone
Nobody will know what we’re planning, they can’t read anyways, >.>
I hate to say this, but if the devs want to leave this in the game (not saying they do or don’t) then that’s their decision. In MTG for example, there are numerous strategies based around combos that leave your opponent unable to play any cards. In fact, there is a deck that is based around milling anything that is valuable to your opponent, which is probably even more annoying, since your opponent has to play out the whole game just in case they might be able to win, while knowing that they probably can’t. MTG decided that it wanted to have decks like this, and it’s up to Duelyst to decide whether or not it will have the same.
The deck might still need to be nerfed because it is too strong (IDK how dominant it is), but the concept of lock decks is legitimate.
Note: If the devs allow this to exist, I do care that it affects everyone equally. While I think lock is okay, I don’t think that gameplay should be affected by actions outside of gameplay.
Lantern control boys. I’ve played that deck. It’s fun for a closet sadist like me.
How does the Boulder Hurl deck fair against Arclyte Regalia?
