With all these late game BBS archetypes starting to develop I could see a neutral deck being popular which uses dispels from Vanar and tech minions like that guy who ups the cost of BBS’s being a thing.
Hmmm. I made a post complaint about what I’d like to see in Duelyst. Less opening gambit for and new generals were my suggestion (well ignore the bosses). CPG listens.
Anywho, with the previews looking how they are looking, bloodsurge is back which a appreciate very much. I’m guessing the lyonar Crestfallen is either a tribe or also going to have BS?

I see this primarily being a Lilith card. For 7 mana, a 6/6 snowball, a 4/4 that can trade decently and two 1/1s seems like a pretty good deal. Only porblem is that Revenant and Reaver are probably far more threatening.
Then again, this minion is pretty difficult to remove along with the fiend, so there’s that.
We don’t know if it’s a token. It may be like heart seeker and be released as a common card as well, meaning there may be more, like with husk. No official card. Husk could be a 2 mana common minion for Abyss so maehv bbs may be a play on this.
Husks are 1 mana. Even if it were 2 mana, there’s no way it would be made accessible as a common card. I didn’t check how much the crestfallen is, mana wise, but even at 1 mana it could be possible to see it as a common in the new set.
should be 6/5 -_- lilith just got more annoying
this is just a cheeky variax lilith card and the community is just gunna accept it and call it dumb.

This, to me, looks like it completes a try-fecta of 6 mana 6/6 minions, one for each general. (Vorpal Reaver for Maehv, Klaxon for Cass, and this for Lilitthe)
Sadly, I don’t see it being ladder viable. 6/6 do nothing else for 6 feels bad, and the times when it gets instant value are on 7 mana. We all know of a certain 7 mana play that’s worlds better than that.
Well, Variax Lilithe has been nigh non-existent since the latest expansion.
Even then, why would Variax Lilithe want to run this card when Variax itself does it so much better? Sure, Variax is two mana more, but I’d rather run supportive cards or removal as opposed to this guy. He doesn’t give the deck anything extra to work with.

Variax effect is FAR more powerful than this guys and it’s unstoppable, can’t be dispelled or removed. Playing this guy on turn 3 with DFS with BBS followed is decent i guess but nothing compared to turn 3 variax, probably even worse than turn 3 Rev. Honestly don’t think this guy will see much play in constructed. Having to fight for a slot with Rrev is a tough task and i don’t think he is up for the challenge.
