Hi, I’ve been playing this game for a week now and manage to create these three decks.
(Well, the only one I did by myself with some tips I found in Reddit and answers I got for a thread I create a few days ago is the Magmar one. The Vanar and Abyssian decks I copied them and replaced some cards with what I had.)
Yesterday I hit Silver and I would like to know how I would need to upgrade these decks to make them more competitive and efficient.
I don’t mean to sound insensitive, but you are better off not touching abyss until you have spirit to burn as its staples cost fortunes and even then the faction is just not in a good place right now.
All of these decks though are similar enough that you should just choose one faction and stick to it that way you can upgrade the deck for that faction more efficiently.
That should cover all the basics, as for some general tips:
You should really cut down on the 2x cards and go to 3x a good 90% of the time, consistency is key. You do have a pretty healthy curve to draw ratio with optimal two drops going so no real criticism there.
If you have any specific questions feel free to hit me up.
That Magmar deck you have there can easily be improved by removing all the Ephemeral Shrouds and instead put Flash Incarnation in. The dispel can be replaced by two copies of EMP instead of two Earthwalkers. The last Earthwalker can either be another Plasmastorm or another Tiger.
So I threw together some Magmar junk as an upgrade over what you have currently, then I remembered there’s someone who handles this better than I do.
Meet @deathsadvocate, everyone’s one-stop-shop for all things not Songhai. This is his budget list. He’s also got a master list you can look up for high-spirit-cost decks, but don’t try for anything there yet. Just copy his budget decks card-for-card and you’ll have some really effective murder machines on your hands that should tear Silver Division into confetti.
Edit: I see in your Magmar deck you have Makantor warbeasts listed. When using any of Death’s budged Magmar decks, find three cards to remove to make room for the three warbeasts, they’re probably the most powerful card for mana cost in all of Duelyst.
Another edit: Death already posted it, like, three posts ago. And a week ago. It’s late. I’m tired. I need sleep, clearly.
