Hi guys, I’ve literally been gone for over 2 months now and I have no idea what’s going on with the meta, so someone please give me rundown of both community and meta update cus i really dont wanna find out for myself

meta is the same as it was 2 months ago and the vetruvian oppression is seemingly unending, although peoples eyes have been opened to how good ziran is. in terms of comunity team wars is going on atm which is fun, if you want to join in on that I think some teams have spaces open.

hello! I don’t think i’ve talked to you in the forums, but you sure are hell whooped my ass plenty enough for me to remember your IGN.
The meta is exactly the same as before except there’s no vaath(due to nerfs) or flawless reflection(also due to nerfs). LitD is the meta. I head it’s best mixed with golem or control suites. Other contenders are: hyperswarm, shidai, burn faie, ziran, and ragnora. Grincher also did this race to S-rank contest and that’s where he derived his tierlist.
We were just doing face reveals (partially to coax isbee into revealing his face).

But yeah, for relationships between actual users changing, all you can do is read, for changes within game itself, nothing has changed except for finality nerf and domination of the meta now with the supposedly fair vetruvian decks.

Why is it then that these two months have been the only time period in my 1 year+
of playing Duelyst that I can not win any ladder games with my most played faction a.k.a. Vet? I’ve tried almost every Vet archetype barring Cypheron decks and can not for the life of me win any ladder matches despite never having such problems in the past.
I’m sorry if my post sounds a bit harsh, but I am really getting annoyed at everybody saying how OPed Vet is when over 50% of the opponents I see on the ladder are Ragnora.

I feel you. Everyone never stopped complaining about Hai, but I struggle with them in almost every matchup.

not if u play magmar (well maybe but still do struggle if u dont get the right card)
well i can only speak for my personal experience on ladder, but I have found massive sucess with vetruvian (mostly obelysks). The faction has unmatched tempo cards, really solid burst and can even play a control game if they want to. This is not to say that they are far and away the strongest faction, as I think all of them but abyssian are very close in strength. The meta on different parts of the ladder is different though, so my experiences will not be the same as yours, as an example thunderhorn is much more effective at lower ranks as people struggle to play around it so it tends to get value, whereas strong players can nullify it’s ability via good play.

2 months is only a long time if you’re trying to keep up with the meme topic. I wonder how many people have clicked the your to see what’s going on and just said ‘nope’ and ran away.
